Churchill Island Marine National Park

I'm surprised I haven't been here sooner. There is some cool landscapes at Churchill island and the old homestead is really interesting too.
My favourite part was definitely the highland cows though. If your wanting that Iceland style highland cow in your photography prints, this is the place to come! 🐮

Took our kayaks at high tide and paddled to Churchill Island, then to the bridge and back (from the end of Churchill Rd). Awesome day, lots of birds - seagulls, silver gulls, herons, Cape Barron Geese, crows and even a hawk).

Everything you would expect for a beautiful beach location.

They have tried to conserve virginity of the island. No excessive buildings. It's almost like a
step back in time as you explore the heritage and tranquil scenery of the Island’s extensive farm grounds and beautiful gardens.

There farm activities such as cow milking, sheep shearing, whip cracking demonstration, working dogs and sheep shearing. It's a beautiful place to just stroll along the trails.

It's a must visit for anyone visiting Philip island

Good historical view point for early Victoria. The sheep sheering is educational. Allow two hrs to walk around the island following the trail.

Beautiful landscape on way to Phillip Island for penguin parade. It is nice place for stopover as at Phillip island you need to be there only in afternoon. Lot of domestic animals . Perticularly enjoyable with school going children.

Lovely place to visit. Interesting historical buildings and demonstrations. I also highly recommend the walk around the island, beautiful views, and there are information boards also.

Great Island for tourists. The locals and tourists love the farmer's market on the 4th Saturday of every month from 8 am to 1 pm.
