Whalers Galley Cafe

Had lunch there, which was delicious, fresh and served up quite quickly. The staff were very friendly, and my husband was over the moon that he could actually get a Vanilla milkshake WITH malt 😋. He's been dying to get a Malted Vanilla milkshake for months now on our travels. Thank you so much, Whalers Galley Cafe 🥰.

A lovely morning tea on a slightly blustery day. We sat outside on the semi-enclosed deck but there was seating inside available as well. Worth a visit.

The cafe is surprisingly nice! If you visit the Whaler's Station, this is a good place to take a rest and refuel. Price is pretty reasonable I would say. Food taste great! Love the scone! Choose a window seat for a stunning view of the sea. We even spotted a wild seal emerged from the beach!

Stop by for breakfast (Sunday after 9:30am) but they only serve drinks, cakes, scones, jam, and cream. It's a beautiful place, that's for sure. $5.00 for scone, jam, and cream 👌

After our tour we decide to have lunch which was terrific
We had a combination of burgers and Fish and chips also salad and then squid rings and crispy prawns. Wow it was all so fresh and very generous servings.

The service here was very good and we got good value for money it’s hard to beat the lovely food and the prices

Our lunch for nine people was easy to order and came to the table all at the same time. The food was delicious and great value-for-money. We will always come back.

We ate there when they were open on a Friday night. The food was fabulous. I am coeliac and I had Calamari, chips and salad which was all cooked GF. The calamari tasted delightful. It was cooked to perfection and melted in my mouth. I highly recommend this Cafe. It is BYO.

Went there during the busiest time of the year. It was late in the arvo and the poor saff had been hammered, but despite this, we were seated promptly and the coffee and cake was exceptional. The view is magnificent and it boadts a friendly, easy atmosphere which was the perfect end to a day of sightseeing in our back yard. A huge shout out to the staff for their wonderful service.

Great service, and a view that is worth way more than the affordable price tag of the delicious food served here. Definately recommend stopping here after the whaling station tour.
