Ramsgate Public School

This school has a great duputy principal in Pablo and the sweetest teachers i have found having changed the kids through several private and public schools as we have had to move location. It may not rank the highest in NAPLAN results nationwide, but rest assured having happy, healthy, positive children is MUCH MORE VALUABLE! In fact my boy's academic achievements are the higgest at any place to date and a 100% attendance rate speaks volumes about it being a happy place that they want to go to. Outstanding teachers, super friendly office staff, the best after school care system I have found in the country (and cheap) makes this place a no brainer. Super high caring community and so much more. Will sadly miss this school and rest assured, if you are considering entrusting your children to these people it truly is a great school. I cannot speak highly enough of the effort made by staff to make​ a positive transformation in my youngest son and will forever be thankful and remember their significant contribution. Thank you!❤

RPS is great! I have some great memories from my time here as a student. My child has made some great friends, met some lovely teachers and is making her own memories. Great start to a child's education journey.

This is a wonderful school with great staff.

Many moons ago, I used to attend Ramsgate Primary School. In fact, the uniform hasn't changed since I was a sprog! But what I really enjoyed was being able to play sports in the Tonbridge Street Reserve. See my photo of beautiful green grass and cockatoos grazing. :)

Reviewing the markets on Saturdays. Great markets, but busy and has have some stalls that aren't quite on theme for a foodies market

I attended this school. And I can confirm that this isn't the best school in the world, but it's also not the worst school. That's why I'm giving it a 3. It was nice, majority of the time. But really the food wasn't great. And some of the teachers haven't properly prepared students for the next year. I wouldn't choose this school if I could go back in time. But I don't regret my time there. It was fun.

Also has a parent actually posted a review? Pretty much only students are. (And people keep changing the name using possibly illegal websites.)

Will be the worst decision of your child’s life sending them to this school and nothing will change until they get a new principal. She is the most absent principal I have ever known in my life.
There are some fantastic teachers there but working under the principal they have restricts them to a lot on what they can do.
All I can say is don’t do it and make a better decision for your child.

Over the years the quality of teachers has decreased which is quite disappointing.
The canteen is a joke with prices increasing and the taste of food decreasing.
Drop offs and pick ups have become an absolute nightmare. There are near-misses daily.
Perhaps the staff could be more courteous and not park right in front of the school.
It wouldn’t hurt the them to park one street away and leave those parking spots for the parents.
This would be so much safer for our kids.
Also, certain teachers and reception staff park illegally in the “No Parking” zone in front of the school every day, yet they have the audacity to send out e-news warning parents the school will call the rangers if the parents are caught parking illegally.
