I had a couple of procedures performed at Tamworth hospital yesterday and stayed at the Tamwell the night before due to the grueling prep work. The room was lovely and the manager, Eddy, was amazing. He drove me to (6:30am) and from the hospital and assured me that housekeeping wouldn’t hate me for the mess I left from all the prep work for the procedures (endoscopy). Then, after I accidentally left my paperwork in his car, he dropped it off at my home which was an hour away (he had business out my way the next day, but still…). In all, he significantly reduced the stress of an otherwise very stressful experience. I’ll definitely stay there again.

Clean, tidy and ultra convenient for Tamworth Hospital patients. Great little Cafe and meals available. The staff are super friendly and helpful.

I recently had a long stay at the Tamwell Motel. I would give them 10 stars if possible. The rooms are large, clean and equipped with everything I needed. Secure underground parking was included. It is very close to the hospital. Position was everything for me. But the gems of this place would have to be Eddie and Shari. The care and support they gave me were beyond any possible hopes my family and I had. Nothing was too much trouble. Eddie is a great chef as well. They made my long stay almost enjoyable. I simply can't say enough wonderful things about them.

Lovely and friendly people, I love this place ….the place is clean and the staff is Efficient, caring operators , good house keeping staff. Cafe offers great food and coffee.

The spacious room, very friendly staff, very clean. Have been going there for years now. Great access to the hospital and other services. Wonderful service. Nothing is too much trouble. Will return. Thankyou.

Great experience staying with current managers!
We went to see the building as it was designed by Australian architect Peter Buckwell in the mid 80's. We got to stay in The original hotel rooms which was great, but the managers are doing a nice job in trying to freshen the motel up yet keep the architecture.
The managers were very attentive, checked us in late and made sure we ordered breakfast and had all the information we needed.

Efficient, caring operators , good house keeping staff. Cafe offers great food and coffee with well appointed gift/ homeware section.

Have been here a few times because of location, size & cleanliness of rooms (with nice views upstairs)
Eddie has always been extremely helpful to ensure my stays have been satisfactory
Pretty good tucker, secure garage parking and very well priced

My mother stayed here twice while she was in Tamworth for hospital visits. The people at Tamwell were incredibly kind to her, making sure she got to and from the hospital safely, and that she got fed when she was late out of hospital. They treated her like you would your own family. Thank you!!!

Best place to stay in Tamworth if you have somebody in the hospital as it is just across the road. I cannot speak highly enough of the new managers Eddie and Sharie; the loveliest people, very genuine and kind and nothing is too much trouble for them.Eddie is an excellent chef and even if you're not staying at the motel its worth a visit to the cafe as the food is awsomme. Be sure to try one of Eddies burgers, they are the absolute best burgers ever! The rooms are spacious and clean. A very well run motel and we will definitely stay again the next time we are in Tamworth

My Husband was staying at Tamworth Base Hospital. The people at Tamwell are the friendly people & most helpful. I would like to thank Eddie for his help & understanding.

The hospitality was second to none, it wasn't a problem to be picked up by the owners after day surgery. My room was spacious, clean and comfortable, very impressed

An absolute pleasure to stay here at the tamwell motel , anybody coming to tamworth must make this a priority on their place of accommodation choice.All reviews below sum it up awesome kind genuine people, facility clean beds comfy has all that is required and more.Food fantastic i cannot say one bad thing about anything .

Can't complain, emergency accomadation was excellent and scramble eggs and bacon was beautiful. Give m the energy to get home safe.👍

Very clean rooms grate management very supportive lonely to talk to and support, I'm from out of town and rang late for a room no hassle, lock up garage a big thumbs up
