The Aston Motel – Tamworth

Very very good value for money. I almost thought I'd walked into the wrong room! I only paid $126 and the room was better than some I have been to and paid triple that!

Only downside, I was woken up by the cleaner opening my door 1 hour before check out! And I didn't even have the 'please clean my room' sign hanging off the door. I'd suggest using the chain behind the door.

Warm friendly greeting as soon as you walk in the door, not on town but close enough to be away from the hustle, great grounds and pool, plenty of room, I will be back

A couple of cracks in the gyprock when we arrived.

No kitchenette.

Security could be better as In the front door.

My mattress sagged a bit!!!!

TV channels mainly had audio only. In all fairness I didn't complain asap and management explained why

Very quiet considering near armidale road a main road but surprisingly quiet.

Fantastic service at the front desk and room service.

And love the garden so serene and peaceful.

Stayed here for two nights for work, absolutely fantastic motel, one of the best I've stayed at. The staff are lovely as well. The room had beautiful, fresh, crisp, white linen, and fluffy towels, I was seriously impressed, so reasonably priced too.

Beautiful clean and spacious rooms. Staff were so lovely, happy and helpful. Definitely extra points when staff are happy to have guests and make you feel more than welcome. Definitely recommend this place to stay, we would definitely come back. Perfect for our family of 4. Grounds were lovely and well kept too

This motel was excellent value for money, rooms were extremely clean, beds were super comfy & the newly renovated rooms down the back give you the additional room for the family to spread out. The new managers (Sharon & her husband) are very friendly and professional. They are doing a great job. We’ll stay again for sure.

Only 4 stars because there must always be room left to improve, once at the top the only way is down.
Customer service was amazing. Went to the extra effort time care and consideration of where we would most likley sleep when choosing placement of a port a cot.
Furnishings spot on (have me ideas for Reno's at home)
Gardens simple yet well done.
The whole atmosphere felt like home but nicer.
Will be recommending to friends and family!

Even though a few kms from the town centre I would recommend staying here. The room was absolutely spotless not a thing out of place.

The host friendly and willing to answer any questions. I arrive on a motorcycle recommend riders this accommodation.

Awesome little motel, bit out of town so a bit quiter and less people around, good pub only a few minutes walk away. Manager was very friendly as easy to talk to. Was happy to store my personal items while I changed rooms. Was also very helpful with changing number of guests at the last minute and is very accommodating with dogs.

Room size is HUGE with multiple sleeping options. Very Clean. Close to town, but 6mins out means very quiet.
On-site parking. the all important water pressure for the shower was strong enough to strip paint off a flaky wall in a budget home reno
One of the nicest country motel rooms I’ve been in

Owners are lovely and so accommodating. Checking in with us as our arrival time kept getting delayed. They had lights on and room warm for us when we arrived. Room was great size. Modern and very clean. Large area for pets attached. Unfortunately missed the restaurant hours but the menu looked great. Would definitely stay here again

Excellent motel, staff are brilliant, helpful, down to earth. My room was extremely comfortable and clean, the beds were so comfortable. Best pet friendly motel. Beautiful gardens and grounds. Will definately stay there again when in Tamworth. Also had the nicest home cooked breakfast. It was a delightful 3 night stay. Would reccomend to anyone. Was fantastic.

Deluxe king suite was perfect for our family. Separate bedroom with comfy king bed and 2 proper Murphy-style singles for the kids in the main room. Nicely renovated and great kitchenette.

Louise and husband were very hospitable. Rooms were very clean and spacious.guest laundry allowing us to wash for the kids was a huge plus. Daily house keeping was also a huge plus. Very friendly and welcoming people and very close to town centre with a pub a minute walk. Heated pool to enjoy. a petrol station across the road. Location is perfect. If we return to Tamworth we will look no further on where to stay. Thanks Louise for a great stay and catering for our family needs.

I have so far been here a week and I am rather impressed. The beds are comfy and I’m pretty sure free of bed bugs, the room was tidy and it has the amenities I require, including a decent sized TV, not that I really watch it. The rooms are also pretty decent in size as well, that has to be said. The staff and managers are very friendly and happy to assist with anything that we need and it’s decorated in a nearly contemporary way. Whenever I am staying and working in or around Tamworth I will be coming here.

Edit. Now been here twice and it’s still awesome. Same as last time! All up stayed maybe a month combined time.

10/10 would stay here again. Gorgeous, family run business. Spotless and beautiful rooms for a great price. Had breakfast and it was lovely and delivered to our room on time. Amazing!

Really friendly & welcoming staff. Comfortable & clean rooms. We had a good stay during our travels north. And they have a number of restaurants that deliver to them from the local area.

Very friendly owners and staff. Restaurant right there so no need to go anywhere for a meal. Room was excellent spacious and very comfortable and clean. Had a great breakfast before heading off.

The rooms were very clean.

Pet friendly motel. Pet friendly rooms have a fully enclosed verandah for your dogs. There is also a large enclosed paddock to run them in.
The rooms are large, spacious, well appointed and clean.
The managers, Karen and Brian are very helpful and friendly.
The onsite restaurant, 999, is very nice with lovely food and excellent staff.
