Spaghetti Tree

I’ve never had a bad meal here at Spaghetti Tree! Gorgeous interior with lots to look at, quick and friendly service, and very tasty generously sized meals. I don’t like too much sauce on my pastas and Spaghetti Tree gets the balance of sauce to pasta just right! Love the flexibility of being able to swap pasta shapes. The chocolate mousse is one of the best I’ve ever had. Light, fluffy, not too sweet, just perfection! A reliable place to go to before the theatre.

What a gorgeous restaurant! The decor was lovely, the staff were friendly and attentive, and the food was so tasty. The portions were huge, everything tasted great, and there was something on the menu to please everyone in my family (even the picky eater). It was well priced considering the quality and serving sizes too. We really enjoyed our visit and may come back for dinner again before we fly home! A must visit restaurant in Melbourne. The free tram stops almost right out the front too so it’s really convenient!

The theme is old movie stars with pictures and posters everywhere and the atmosphere is chilled and relaxed.

Food is absolutely top notch and always fresh, hot and delicious. As for the service, can't fault it. The staff are always very attentive and pleasant.

Try this place once for yourself and you'll be hooked.

A place that will give you The Godfather vibe, and they sure serve amazing pasta!

We ordered the Lasagna ($28) & the Spaghetti Bolognese ($26). Both were served hot and quickly. Generous portions and very tasty!

They have a great selection of wine, and you will enjoy the food & drink with live music playing in the background.

10/10 must visit restaurant if you’re at all a fan of Italian food, home style. Large servings, well priced and tasted amazing. The atmosphere is why I chose this place to visit and I was not disappointed. We’ll be back

What a delightful place. I asked to be seated near the music, and luckily our family was seated next to the lovely gentleman playing the piano. My son said it was the best parma he ever had, Lasagne was DELISH, and my daughter loved her pasta. All in all a great night! It's very rare we all enjoy our food so welldone to this place! The waiter was also very lovely and attentive! There is a reason the place was so full. Fantastic restaurant

Delicious Italian food and incredible tiramisu (highly recommend if you go here to try it!). We ordered fettuccine carbonara and penne al fredo which were both lovely. The staff were nice and the dim lighting and decor were so charming and romantic, especially for Valentine’s Day. Cocktails were also great and huge glasses for the price. Please order the bruschetta as well if you do come here, such well balanced and fresh flavour, we almost ordered it twice!

A great authentic Italian menu and good service. The spaghetti bolognese was well flavoured and tasted great. The veal scallopini was tender but lacked seasoning .

All in all a great visit, well recommended.

Friendly and attentive service, tasty fresh food. A nice selection of wines and very reasonably priced. Very relaxed atmosphere, not stuffy and plenty of space so didn't feel cramped. The portion size was amazing for the price point, I had calamari and fries, it came with a nicely dressed salad. A couple of glasses of the house white to finish me off! Marvelous. Ten stars.

It's a very elegant restaurant and the service is excellent. Music helps to create a good atmosphere. It's a perfect place to have a romantic dinner.

This restaurant serves very good yet simple food. We always order their pasta dishes as their serving is so generous and cooked in classic styles. Steak, garlic prawns and veal dishes are excellent. Their duty manager provides outstanding customer service. It’s always our family’s go to place to celebrate special events.

Awesome food and service. I had the penne matriciato and my wife the Baramundi. Excellent, hot, and delicious. Service was great.

Everything we ordered was delicious. Love the spicy taste in my penne Matriciana. Loads of cheese in the lasagna. Also love that we could choose different pasta from the main menu for kids meal and the portion was huge. Service was great. Food was served in 10 mins - guessed we got fast-tracked after the young waitress asked if we were going to the theatre. We’ll definitely be back!

Had never been here before even though I’ve lived in Melbourne for years and believe it’s a bit of an institution. Decided to go for pre-show dinner, and it totally exceeded our expectations. Delicious meal, quick and friendly service, and so much interesting history to see here. Definitely ‘classic’ decor which has been around for a while but it was a great experience.

Some delicious food including the veal scallopini and seafood linguine. We also decided to treat ourselves to dessert- sticky date pudding.
All in all great food and fabulous service. A nice treat once in a while to dine out. Will be back.

The best Italian I have ever had. The sauces were so fresh, the ravioli was perfectly cooked, the restaurant was generous enough to increase the serving size of a dish so that we can share among 4. Will keep going back and recommending as well.
