Hi-Way Eight Motor Inn

I couldn’t recommend this place enough. The hotel room was spotlessly clean and had everything we would need including glassware, microwave which is quite rare. The manager was so nice and accommodating. The light breakfast provided was more than enough to fuel us for our hikes at Grampians. The place is affordable and worth every penny. The rooms were well cleaned by the time we came back which was around 3pm. If we are ever in the area again, this would be our go to. Highly recommended!

An old school motel (clinker brick walls inside rooms) made to be as good as it can be with really good old fashioned service from Marty. Clean, comfortable, great showers, beaut little pool that felt like it must have solar heating - and surprise, surprise, a very nice complimentary continental breakfast in the motel dining room. If in the area, will stay again.

Clean, tidy, and spacious room. Everything works. Kitchenette with fridge, microwave, kettle, etc. Location is noisy, but we did not care.

Very clean, neat and comfortable accommodation for a 4 night stay for 2. Friendly owner and friendly dog. Close to Stawell and Grampians National Park. Spacious room. A lovely complimentary breakfast. Home away from home. Reasonably priced. Would definitely stay again if in this area.

Stayed late December 2021, three adults and young teenager. We were very happy with the Motel, it is well priced for what is on offer. Good size rooms (rooms 14 and 15) all clean (no hairs). Large TV with Netflix. Breakfast was included in the price, cereals, toast, juice, fruit, hot drinks, all satisfactory. The outside swimming pool was a good size and clean, pool towels were available. Some road noise but not too intrusive. Marty the owner/manager was helpful and obliging. We would readily stay here again.

It was a great experience to be here. Everything is clean and tidy.

I recently stayed at The Hi-Way Eight Motor Inn, whilst travelling from Melbourne to Adelaide. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The manager made sure I had room to park my brand new trailer. Even had a couple cold beers in the fridge, in the office. I would definitely recommend this motel and will stay there again.

Very clean, there is a syn heated swimming pool. You will have free light breakfast which is available 7-9 am everyday. The only problem which i have faced was the wifi speed was slow, maybe many users use it at the same time.
Overall I highly recommend it 👌

We were only there one night, but could not speak highly enough of this motel.
Incredible value for money! We had a deluxe double room. It was a good size, huge telly, big bathroom and - biggest plus of all in these scary times - immaculately clean.
We were made feel very welcome, and when you need anything from the fridge in reception the prices are more-than-reasonable.
The biggest plus of all is the free brekky in the dining room. You have the option to pay for a full breakfast in your room, but why bother when you can have cereal, toast, and juice or coffee in the dining room free of charge.
Will definitely be my place of choice when I’m next in the Stawell area.

Clean functional room for a quick one night stay on the way to South Australia. Our room had 2 single beds and a double so perfect for family's. We didn't try out the pool as not that warm but there were plenty of kids in there. Woukd definitely stay again.

Clean & comfortable. Pool is clean and a life saver in the heat. Only 20 Min from Halls Gap , would recommend without hesitation.

An unassuming motel with very friendly and helpful staff, who were willing and able to share their knowledge of eateries in the Stawell area.
The price of our room was very reasonable and on top of that we were given a FREE Breakfast, when the manager found out I had food allergies she offered to organize some gluten free bread for me.
The rooms were comfortable and clean and all requirements were available. We had a
lovely stay at the Hiway 8 Motor Inn.

This Motor Inn really impressed us and better than our expectations. It was very clean and the owner was extremely helpful and very hospitable. This is a great place to stay when travelling to the Grampians and Halls Gap.

Just perfect. Well serviced room for 2 adults and 2 older kids (with room for a third), super friendly and helpful staff, comfortable beds, great shower, lovely pool area and very clean! What more could you ask for 🌞

A great place to stop in just of the main Rd of Stawell, You can eat in or dine out with everything a short drive away from the motel room. The rooms are clean & tidy with double bed, couch, breakfast table, microwave, fridge, kettle, DVD & Netflix. They also have a pool on site with BBQ facilities available.
