Cato Park

Beautiful park and playground in a nice little neighbourhood. Very calm and quiet with geese, birds, and nature. Lovely walking trails and wheelchair accessible playground facilities and BBQ area. There are plenty of sitting areas and toilet 🚻 facilities. Enough parking for everyone. Thanks to the city council people, they are maintaining it very well. Great area to spend a few hours in the late afternoon or evening. Great for local residents as well as tourists to Grampians or interstate travellers to South Australia. Highly recommended.

Small covered playground. Ample carpark. Public toilets well maintained. One Water station available.

Ideal for the kids and the animals, please be respectful and have dogs on leads at all times.

The swans recently had baby swans 4-5 months ago and how they grow up quickly.

The main street is literally a 2 minute walk :)

Lovely park we like to visit whilst visiting Stawell when on holiday in Halls Gap. Nice to walk around the lake and watch the bird life.

Awesome Park! beautiful lake, We stayed in Stawell to visit Grampians and spent half day visiting few places in Stawell. This is the best of all!

Lovely Free Spot to sit & eat. Very pretty fountains made it nice to look at & relax. Seating is spaced around the park too with Beautiful gardens to enjoy. A really great playground as well for the kids, with clean toilets. Has bubble taps for drinking water for both humans & dogs ❤ alot of thought went into this park & benefits all who get to stop & enjoy it.

Beautiful park to watch a spectacular sunset…family loved playing in the park, the black swans are very inquisitive and friendly. A friendly local saw we were touring and came for a chat too…

Great place to relax with friends, free BBQ amenities, ample shade, large kids playground, fresh water fountains, bins, clean toilets...

All of the locals were super friendly, can't wait to go back.

Cato park is gorgeous since the upgrade! The fountains, the plants and the arch ways are all so perfect.

The park is very different from the one that I grew up with, but all of the upgrades have made it a more inviting place for the slightly older crowd 💖

Great area to relax and unwind whilst the kids have fun on the playground. Small lake with plenty of birdlife. There is a walking track the whole way around for a lovely peaceful walk. Bbq and amenities on site for a nice relaxing picnic

Great park to go at a evening.

Gorgeous little park perfect for the kids to play to break up a long drive. Fenced playground for the littlies plus some equipment for older kids, walking tracks around the lake, gazebos, BBQ and plenty of seating. Toilets were clean. The ducks and birds at the lake were a highlight for my toddler!
