I booked the lunch cruise...
It was truly a beautiful and relaxing experience on the river! The weather was perfect ☀ the commentary was insightful and funny 😂 , they provided free bottle of water, the location was perfect 🗺 and plenty of free parking 🚙 ! The 2 course lunch 🍲 was after the cruise at the golf club venue and they had such a fantastic menu and the quality/quantity was extremely good.
Highly recommend!!!

Very friendly . Organised a pontoon for us last minute . Met us and helped us and gave us great local advice despite a windy day we went to the spot they told us and it was calm perfect spot for a BBQ

The 2.5 hour Tweed River cruise is fantastic! Mainly due to the business owner and commentator Michael, he's a wealth of knowledge and an interesting speaker. He told us a bit about everything from some local language area names to historical land use, to the reason that Stott's island was never cleared and now represents an amazing sample of riparian rainforest.

The boat leaves from a mooring point at the Coolangatta Tweed Heads golf course where there's plenty of parking.

The boat isn't fancy but it's a smooth ride down the river and you get great views from the deck.

We had a very pleasant cruise trip with Mount Warning Tours recently. The staff was super helpful in reserving the date for us and even changing it at our request. On board commentaries were helpful and interesting. Hope to come back again later..

We did the cruise only this morning and really enjoyed it. The commentary was very interesting and the scenery lovely. We received plenty of wine and from what we could see of the lunch option, it was fantastic, too. We saw plenty of birds swoop down to the river for a feed.

It was an awesome experience cruising the Tweed River, seeing the magical beauty of the area. Michael's commentary is so educational, and Rob keeps everyone happy with hilarious dialogue.

The "Minjungbal Cultural Experience on Water" offered by Tweed Escapes as part of the Tweed Artisan Food Weekend in March 2021 was a highlight and sold-out event! A Welcome to Country set the intention for the day and onboard, local Bundjalung performers entertained guests. Following the cruise, guests were taken to the Minjungbal Cultural Centre for a forage with expert Uncle Franc and lunch catered for by local Indigenous chefs. Everyone was in awe of a completely memorable day! (Photo credit: Ryan Fowler photography).

We hired the Pontoon Boat yesterday. The boat was very clean and we had very enjoyable day out on the water. It is simple to drive and enough room for our 6 people even though it can take 12. I say enough about the owners services he was very helpful and wonderful to deal with. Highly recommend to hire this boat. thanks Tweed Escapes.

We had a wonderful 2 hour cruise along the river as a family, celebrating a 70th birthday. We hired the boat privately and it was ideal. We used the upstairs for seafood munching and downstairs for cutting of the cake and speeches. Even the wharf played a part as we formed a guard of honour for the arriving guest of honour.
This was a wonderful appropriate venue for all ages .

Had a fantastic day out on the water with our small group of people. The guys that ran the cruise went above and beyond to ensure we had a great day!!
Nothing was too much trouble. The scenery was fabulous and we enjoyed exploring the Tweed Hinterland. Highly recommend this cruise for a relaxing day on the river.

I highly recommend Mount Warning Tours as a great way to celebrate a special occasion or just enjoy a relaxing day on the river. The crew are very friendly and go above and beyond to make the day one to remember. The food is amazing - somehow they manage to whip up a gourmet seafood luncheon in minutes with restaurant -like presentation. The scenery is a photographer's dream with an abundance of bird life and beautiful landscapes, including the spectacular Mount Warning. We had four generations of family on board and every age group thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

We were lucky enough to be aboard a degustation tour today and highly recommend this - food fantastic, well prepared and each course so tasty served with love;y wines.

Views and commentary awesome it was lovely how the crew found something for everyone from letting the kids feed the birds off the back of the boat, letting the big kids steer the boat, keeping commentary going explaining the area history and pointing out interesting wildlife, I really don’t know how they spotted the bird life so well and so quickly.

The whole crew did a fantastic job and made everyone super welcome - We look forward to visiting again very soon.

Thanks for making our day so special.
Mark and Jo
