A wonderful caring doctor who is extremely knowledgeable and very compassionate, a real people person. Best GP my wife has ever had and I'm having my first appointment next week to have him as my GP also.

Dr Fixler is an amazing doctor. Always had to go twice to other doctors. Not with Dr. Fixler! Also kid friendly. Recommend doctor except no bulk billing. Thing to keep in mind.

A friend put me onto Dr Fixler in my early 20s when I was pretty unstable. I was stressed, had no permanent residency and my mental health was not good. He did everything possible, stuck by me, slowly tried medications, got me further help and always provided a listening ear. He never rushes. He may fall behind so yes, those that know him, they know to call ahead. Reception will even call you if you wish when you're close to being seen so you can head down. Face time consults have improved this 10 fold but as stated, he will never rush a patient so it may be inconvenient until you're the one sitting with him.
I left for a while, travelling and staying with friends far away. I didn't see Dr Fixler for about 7yrs! No one ever came close to his level of care and compassion. He listens and he never gets it wrong. I will never go elsewhere again, even if circumstances cause me to move. Good doctors are 1 in a million and Dr Fixler not only always happily provided other GPs with my info upon request but welcomed me back like a never left. He's unbiased, non judgemental, the reception are lovely. I honestly could go on forever. Highly recommended doctor for all ages. He's 5☆☆☆☆☆ quality & A1 with patients. Also if you like the idea of a gay friendly practice, this is one.

I’ve been a patient of this clinic since I was born and I’m yet to meet another GP quite like Dr Fixler. He’s very patient, switched on and caring. He always takes you seriously and listens to your concerns without judgement. You can tell he’s highly experienced and he’s one of the few doctors I trust and feel comfortable seeing. Yes he runs over time but that’s a sign of an excellent Dr who doesn’t rush his patients out the door. His fees are also very reasonable. The receptionists are lovely and helpful too. Especially Lyn and Heather. 🙂

I have been going to doctor Fixler for over 30years ,in this time I have found Doctor Fixler to be a very lovely man who is there for his patience ,yes he might run a bit over in time ,but this I find is because Doctor Fixler is taking time to insure his patients know exactly what's going on with there health . should be more Doctors like him ,

Been going to Dr Fixler for about 30yrs. Never had an issue with him and he has picked up on problems other doctors have missed. He is a very knowledgeable and caring doctor and I highly recommend him

I'm not one who likes to go to the doctor but Dr Fixler was so helpful looking at everyway possible to sort out my concern..lady at desk helpful too. Made an unpleasant situation a happy one with a good end..thank you so much.

Great doc, very caring, but always very late so call before going

It's not often I give a bad review however I was a little apauled with what happened in my consultation.

I saw Dr Fixler and he decided to answer a call in the middle of my consultation, never said excuse me or appoligise for the need to answering a call. It was a patient who he then decided to get his file up and tests results and discus this over the phone, I'm still in the room by the way. Personally I would not like him discussing my results and how toove forward when he has a patient in the room, isn't this a breach of privacy? Moving on he then makes a call to reception to also discus another patient and not me, by now I'm a little agrevated as it showed little regard for me. I won't even go into the rest of the consultation that tipped it over the edge. No way I will be back or recommend anyone to visit him. Might just be me but I was brought up differently and I found it rude.
