Chung San Chinese Restaurant

There was an issue with my delivery and the delivery company wasn't responding, I approached the restaurant. The lady there was lovely and couldn't have been more helpful. Service was great, food was delicious and we will definitely be return customers. Thank you Chung San.

The food. The service, the people are absolutely amazing. Would recommend 110%. Make sure you pay cash to get the prawn crackers!!!!

Went there for the first time and the Nasi Goreng was literally so good! It was spicy and so flavourful. The Kung Pao Chicken was so tender and saucy and just pure goodness. Everything we ordered was really great and the waiting time was very short considering we ordered quite amount of food. Staff was very accomodating, asking us if there’s anything we need AND they truly cater to your wants and needs. 100/10. Would definitely come back again. Super Recommend to anyone who loves Chinese and Malaysian Food!!!

Best Chinese restaurant in the area. We have been coming here for years and have never been disappointed, whether we dine in or takeaway. Great range of food which is always freshly cooked on the spot. We tried some newly introduced dishes which were delicious. Love the lady at the front desk who is a delight to watch. Keep up the great work Chung San.

Absolutely love this place - the food is amazing and love the vibe of the little restaurant. We have eaten in, picked up takeaway and had it delivered and the food has always been delicious. Highly recommend!

One of the last great Authentic Chinese/Malaysian Restaurants in Melbourne. It's been around for over 20 years. Our night was great, the food amazing tastes, so much flavour, service was let down because the one only waitress/hostess/ Cashier was absolutely swamped. I wanted to help her. Phone orders, Uber food pickups, customers waiting to order, or pickup were out of control. We got a container to take home the excess, will always go back dor a feed there, it's worth the wait.

Best Chinese food I have had in many years, very tasty and so much better then majority of the Chinese restaurants who seem to just make the same dish and call it whatever you order. Friendly staff and great value for money. Now my favourite place for Chinese food.

It's always hot and tasty. Customer service could be a bit better, but food makes up for it.

The food is always good and tasty. Prices are reasonable. They could do with some updating inside the restaurant but we wouldn't buy Chinese food anywhere else from this area. Very delicious.

Consistent great food. We normally order honey chicken, special fried rice, Singapore noodles, spring rolls and more and always impressed. We get takeaway and it's ready on time. Friendly service.

Don't know about other reviewers probably a once off, but everytime I order special friend rice it is always packed with lots of yummy pork and prawns and everything else, I remember once telling a friend, there's more veg, pork and shrimp in here then there is rice, just the way I like it. Keep up the good work guys, this is the only Asian place around the area that I enjoy eating, matter of fact I'm about to place an order online now for when delivery starts at 5pm.

Absolutely amazing! Definitely our new favourite. We ordered honey chicken, satay chicken skewers, lemon chicken, chicken hokkien noodles, special fried rice and steak and black bean. Every single bit was great! Very saucy meals which we loved. I personally was a huge fan of the steak and black bean, very tender and honestly the best I've had. Food was delivered on time (quick eta aswell), nice and hot still on arrival. My partners favourite were the hokkien noodles and I can't say I blame him as it was filled with flavour. Reasonably prices compared to some others in the area and I'd happily pay more, given how good the food was as it was worth every sent. Highly recommend ordering from this place. We will definitely order again in the future and recommend to family and friends.

Beautiful food. Good quality cuts of meat in combination. Vegetables were cooked to perfection. Best fried rice I have ever tasted. Staff were very friendly and efficient.

The best Chinese food in a 30km radius. Ordered a dozen times, never been disappointed. Maybe a little heavy on the vegetables, but happy to take it off if you are unhealthy like me, although I don't bother any more, I just got used to the delicious foods.
