Waverton Park

Have been coming to this spot for 16 years and it never disappoints! Absolutely beautiful views and great atmosphere with so much to do. Family friendly parks, BBQ area greats walking trails / tracks, water views of the city and harbour you honestly couldn't ask for more out of a park.

The public facilities are very good, the park environment is very good, the public toilets are clean, and it is only a few minutes walk to the observation deck, where you can enjoy the beautiful views of the Sydney Bridge, CBD, Opera House and Harbor. This is a good place for families and couples to gather, as well as a good place to watch the sunrise and sunset.

One of my favourite locality in Sydney. It is located so near to Sydney CBD but have a blissful nature. Very calm with great view lookouts of Iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge and CBD.

Great open park surrounded by rock and trees, close to city and walk along this park leads to coal loader as well. Some gym equipment is also available and the views are great.

Perfect during evening time to see the sunset.

It’s a great place, especially for the kids. We’ve been there for my son soccer training. We usually go there for walking and biking.

Very nice park where a lot of people take their dogs. Nice atmosphere. Below is an oval and a small beach area. Walk further and you've got a beautiful view of the Harbour Bridge and Sydney.

lovely to walk your dog around here off leash. The old BP site has been sculpted into a pleasant walk with magnificent harbour views.

It’s a beautiful spot with a great scenic view of the city.. some people might find it difficult to locate for its location.. however, there are couple of ways to enter the park.. thank for we have the google maps now to guide us.

If you walk downhill towards the soccer fields, you'll discover a unique little gem of a harbour view.

Large open grassed area. Has toilets and a bubbler. Plenty of room for dogs to run around. Great view of the Harbour Bridge.

Great little escape close to the city that looks out onto the harbour and provides generous open space for dog walkers or dog lovers to find dogs to pat.

Most people stay up near the street so the park is largely empty. Perfect spot for family picnics/gatherings. With cricket pitch

It feels like you're 200km out of Sydney. Just quiet, peaceful and leafy.
