Great stroll through experience for a Sunday, partly under cover.
A good annexed showcase for the character and culture of Evandale.
A worthy sight for visitors and good trout fishing near by on Tasmania's longest river the South Esk.

Lots of interesting stalls here. Less produce focused compared to the Launceston Harvest Market with more books, records, jewellery, and other interesting pieces.
Bring cash! There is a 50 cent entrance fee per person as well.

What a great market!
Very different to mainland markets.
Lots of bric and brac stalls, vintage stalls, soaps, clothing, eateries, produce, and even pony rides.
Toilets are clean, very tidy markets

Better than the Harvest Market in Launceston, hands down! Heaps of stalls selling all sorts from fruit and veg to "treasures" and palm reading. Worth the 1 hour drive and will be visiting fortnightly. 50c entry fee per adult, children free.

Absolutely fantastic market with a wide espresso of stalls and merchandise - browsing the second hand items and the fr sh produce alongside your standard crystal stalls and food trucks. Wish this would was my local market! But great place to stop by on holiday

Busier this time around. More stalls operating. Lovely weather. Good to see many people turned up. Had great food. Friends from Western Australia enjoyed themselves.

Always a great market. Bargains to be found and always something different. I would like to see maybe be some pipes and drums or strings, especially in the late spring and the summer months. And more seating outside to enjoy your food. Love this market, better than Salamanca( too commercial)

Delightful and diverse market.
We parked for $2 and there was plenty of space for our motorhome. There are some handicapped spaces right inside the paid entrance parking too.
Lots of fresh fruit and vegetables, including some of the most plump and flavourful cherries and strawberries we’ve had. We picked up plums, apricots, and blueberries too.
Lots of takeaway food options ranging from hot Lebanese food to almond croissants.
Loved the handmade goods available all at reasonable prices. We picked up a set of wooden rainbow sorting sets and an imaginative flower from the most delightful woman and her daughters.
Picked up an apron in a style that I know I’ll end up wearing as a dress over simple clothes with a divine Australian flower patterned fabric from a woman named Sylvia. Picked up a wide brim swim hat for our 7 year old handmade by Amanda that even has the thoughtful wind strap to keep it secure.
Browsing the used clothing yielded fantastic results and I was lucky enough to purchase 2 silk dresses that fit wonderfully.
Overall a fantastic market and one we would make a point to visit in the future.

Loved this really large and diverse local market. One of the best in Tassie! Loved our homemade cherry pie, picking up old farm tools, and antique wares.

So much fun!! Too much stuff to see in one day - so I recommend taking your time. Such a pleasant vibe on a sunny day, the locals have so much to offer for all ages. I recommend the honey chapstick stand and the gipsy carts.

Fantastic market experience. Everything from fruit and vegetables to eclectic bric-a-brac. Coffee and food stalls. Unpretentious market, the best we have been to in recent years. 50 cent entrance fee with $2 parking further down the road.

Awesome outdoor/indoor market. Bit of everything... great food options, plants, fruit & vegetables, antiques, bric-a-brac, collectables, tools, livestock (chickens/sheep/goats) second hand clothing, pony rides and even fairy floss on a stick. Evandale is a gorgeous village, lovely to stroll through.

Situated in the most beautiful part of Tasmania & only open Sundays, these are true local farmer’s markets selling organic food (go early) & curio. BYO bag. Park onsite $2. Check out the gorgeous neighbouring towns while there.
