Mossman Golf Club

We joined Mossman Golf Club on their temporary membership basis. This is a fantastic 18 hole club only 20 minutes from our accommodation in Port Douglas. Ralph, Joseph and the staff have been really welcoming and we have met several local players. Even in wet season we have enjoyed golf most days with our buggy waiting for us for a 7am tee off time. I highly recommend this to an alternative to Mirage or Palmers with the green fees being considerably lower. Great local club.

I don't play, I am the scorer and buggie driver. My hubby is the 🏌‍♂ golfer. We have been travelling around Queensland for the last 18 months, and we have both decided, this is the nicest course by fare!
Staff are nice too!
I am betting we'll be back before we leave.

Awesome little country course that gives Mirage and Sea Reef a run for their money. Some terrific holes. Nicely paced and maintained greens. One of the widest fairways I have ever seen (2nd hole) - and I still managed to miss to the right! I especially enjoyed the jungle vibe of the back nine. Friendly golf pro and nicely stocked shop too. Golfing in the area? Put this one on your list.

This course is in great condition and is a fabulous walk. At a couple of places you walk between holes through rainforest which is amazing. Carts are available and the clubhouse is well set up with indoor and outdoor spaces and a pool table. Beer is cold and the staff are very friendly. Course is challenging with the 1st nine mostly longer holes with wide fairways and the 2nd nine shorter but a bit narrower. All up it's a great test. At $35 for 18 holes it's the best value golf near pt Douglas,

Great course with awesome views. Loved the small rainforest path from hole 5 to 6.

A beautiful, welcoming and well kept course less than half an hour's drive from Port Douglas. As first-timers to Mossman, we opted to walk it rather than buggy, enjoying views of the mountain range, gnarled trees and the sugar cane railway. Be sure to bring insect repellent - we were almost eaten alive on the par 3 hole 6.

Well maintained golf course in a hot part of North Queensland good test of golf . It is not an A grade course but who needs one . Enjoyed it immensely. Hired clubs golf cart beers at halfway and lovely staff thank you .

Lovely place that always has great friendly faces and cold 🍺 🍻 beers.

Really modern, immaculate ladies shower & toilets at the club. We were able to use as campers at their RV park between the course & a cane field. Wonderful setting, excellent caretaker Adam, flat, green sits (about 18) & only 2kms to Newell Beach, with a recommended fish & chip shop. We stayed 3 nights @$22pn all unpowered sites, beautifully maintained.

Dump point near pool in Mossman itself, & a really nice Vinnie's Op Shop.

Great golf course, easy to walk but lots of carts available. Mostly straight fairways with some challenging holes. Watch out for the rain forests!
Very reasonably priced ($40) much better than at Port Douglas

It was a busy day, competition was on but the lady let me play eighteen, starting back nine.
I have played on many courses in Australasia but after finishing this course I concede that this is one of my favourites.
Sometimes on courses there is a little ambiguity where in fact the next tee off is,not on this course,nice little finger signs always point you in the right direction and pathway to follow.All in all just magnificent,should be proud of yourselves,although I never had drinks or meals there they were still available if needed,wonderful facilities all round.

Great staff who were very welcoming and helpful. Top notch social course, in great condition, with some beautiful views, at a decent price. What's not to love?

Great course in FNQ. Reasonable rates including cart and clubs hire. Friendly staff and cold beer. Looking forward to our next visit.

We take our kids here every week for the free of charge golf clinic the lovely Lisa and Rachael put on. And as parents, we get an hour to kick back and use the bar facilities!

Nice trek, important to support these regional courses when in the area. Make sure you pay a visit 🙏

Good muni golf course with affordable fees. Carts and clubs can be rented so its ideal for people that are on holidays and dont want to spend AUD150 plus rounds.
