Red Cedar Motel

Swung through on a drive from Newcastle to Cairns. Modern, clean rooms (recently renovated), really comfy beds, hot showers and run by genuinely nice people. Leaps and bounds above any motel of similar price!

Great clean refurbished motel. Easy single level area with easy access to vehicles. Beds were comfy and bathrooms are clean.

I stayed here for work earlier in 2022, I had a room 6 nights a week for nearly 4 months, the room were always clean and tidy, the fridge was small but got upgraded while I was there, the new fridge makes it easier to not buy takeout, just buy fresh from woolies.

The service really couldn't be better and far exceeded the price point, the owners are hard workers providing a great service.

I have returned for more work later In 2022 and requested to be accommodated at the Red Cedar again.

You couldn't ask for more really, neat and tidy rooms, clean bathrooms and the best water pressure on the shower of anywhere I've ever stayed.

Others complain about the parking, it's tight but manageable, take your time to park, you can get in and out.

Room was spotless, friendly staff, not noisy at all, beds are firm but comfy, love the pillows, and with the heat blankets on the bed I had an amazing sleep & the showers oh my gosh, perfect pressure shower, Will definitely book again.

I found the staff very friendly, the room I had enough space for an overnight stay, bed clean and comfortable, bathroom clean, aircon worked well which was excellent due to having a 40 degree day. Would stay here again 👍
