Newell Beach Caravan Park and Holiday Units

My boyfriend and I arrived at nightfall without a reservation as we had nowhere to park our car for the night. The owner was extremely kind and accommodating. He had no more (un)powered site available but found us a piece of land so that we could set up. The amenities were very functional and clean. The campsite is right on the beach and we were even able to walk along the water in the evening. Super campsite, we highly recommend it!

We spontaneously spend a night at this campsite and it was so nice that we decided to stay a second one. It's a small site with an amazing location, a lot of friendly people, clean amenities and even a little pool :)
I would definitely sleep here again!

I found this small park near the beach front, great, I booked for 1 night and stayed 7, Warren, owner and his partner were very friendly and he even helped me out with a flat battery, the amenities were fine, well cleaned every day, its the type of park if leave something in there its on top of the partition the next day.
Its close to Mossman 6 k, s, has 2 good Opp Shops if thats your thing, and the Gorge and Cape Tribulation through the Daintree 60, ks, yes I'll be back...

Park is small and quiet with clean amenities close by to all sites. Pool was a welcome relief. Camp kitchen central and, though not used by me, appears well supplied. Warren (the owner) great bloke. Easy to talk to and very friendly. Invaluable assistance provided with a jockey wheel issue.
If you're looking for somewhere outside of Port Douglas, but still easily accessible by short road trip and with Mossman close by with shopping facilities, it's worth looking at staying here.
Beach straight across the road, unfortunately can't swim there, but nice to listen to of a night.

We spent 2 nights at this Caravan Park. It’s a quiet place, well located next to the ocean, which you can hear at night.
The owner was very kind and funny.
The ameneties where very clean.
We would greatly recommand this place !

Booked a week and ended up staying for over three! This place is wedged between the mountains and sea with epic scenery all around. The facilities we're cleaned exceptionally well every day and Jenny and Warren were great hosts. My family and I are very sad to leave this super friendly site. Highly recommended. And a fantastic fish n chip shop next door!

Lovely small locally owned caravan park. Cheapest in the area. Paid 35$ for unpowered site 2p. Beautiful views. 2sec walk to the ocean. Toilet/shower were very clean. Please be croc wise as we saw crocodile tracks on the beach.

My husband and I stayed here for the first time for a couple nights and were really impressed with everything! We’ve camped at many places over the years and haven’t done a heap of reviews but this place deserves to be recognized!
The owners were both very friendly and made us feel more than welcome. We were walked to our site and given a quick tour of the park and the amenities and they made themselves readily available if anything was needed. The showers had heaps of pressure and hot water and all of the amenities were clean. I loved the fact that they had sanitizer in the bathroom stalls etc just as an added security.
The beach is literally across the road and is a beautiful place to visit. If you want an excellent takeaway meal there’s a shop right next door and the food and service and prices were outstanding and they had a huge selection of foods to choose from!
They have a happy hour every day and we were surprised that so many people gathered together and had heaps of laughs and stories to share.
It was only about 4km from Mossman and about 45 minutes to the Daintree park.
Our only regret is that we weren’t able to stay longer!

Resently stayed here on a extended stay. The owners Warren & Jenny are so lovely & very friendly. A great small park to stay if you want to relax & get away. Amenities are good to. Great fishing & plenty of sites to see. Big thumbs up.

Nice little caravan park. The owners are very friendly, relaxed and welcoming. They even gave us tomatoes from their garden.

Super quiet! Love this spot. We stayed a week and was left completely alone to enjoy our time. Dog friendly with an amazing dog beach right across the road. Excellent clean bathroom and laundry facilities (laundry takes $1.00 coins only) Thank you so much we will be back.

We stayed for 2 weeks. Sites are nice with palms and foliage to screen between sites. Spotless amenities with hand sanitizer and disinfectant readily available, which is great during these Covid 19 times. Grounds are kept neat and tidy. Dog friendly and just across road to on leash beach and short walk to off leash beach.

Awesome park. Friendly staff, clean toilets/showers & kitchen area, quiet and right next door to the shop. Stayed here for 4 nights. Loved walking around Newell looking at the beautiful houses and gardens. Just across the road from the beach too. Will stay here again.

Small caravan park, clean tidy facilities. Friendly owners, social happy hours & wed morning tea social event. Live music by residents Local fish& chip/ Pizza shop right out front as well as the beach & close to Mosman Gold course if you play golf.

Lovely camping spot opposite the beach and next to a great little take away shop. Amenities are always spotless and the sites separated by plants. The 5pm evening drinks is friendly and inclusive all around a great place for a getaway.

It has been a wonderful stay at Newell Beach Caravan Park. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Great view of the beach right from within the park. A pizza / fish & chips restaurant only 50 meters away. We tried various seafood items and won't forget the overall experience. Will come back again!

Gorgeous and comfortable place to stay. Wake up to wave sounds in a beautiful setting. Jenny is great too. Hope to be back soon.
