Lovely welcoming air-conditioned oasis with free WiFi, second books for sale at $2 each and some give away DVDS as well as magazines and books to peruse! Staff very helpful when we enquired about local birdlife.

Super liebe Bibliothekarinnen! Bibliothek selbst in angenehmer Größe. Die Kinderbücherei größer als erwartet. Ein gemütlicher Ort mit angenehmer Atmosphäre.

Little frustrated, found library closed for update however..read on there is a temp one !!

"The Bowen library will be temporarily closed for maintenance from Monday 8 July – Tuesday 13 August 2024.

During this time, basic library services and resources will be relocated to the training room in the Council Customer Service Centre located next to the library on Herbert St."

Great library small but comfortable. Usually get a table.
