Shamrock Hotel Motel

We had fantastic stay at the Shamrock, rooms are newly renovated and are modern, spacious, and spotlessly clean. Beds were comfortable and all the expected amenities like tea, coffee, milk and even bickies close at hand. Room had a huge brand new Philips Smart TV (At least 40”+)mounted on the wall. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I travel with an accredited Service Dog, even though it wasn’t listed as dog friendly, the Shamrock were very accommodating, and let me know by email that everything was ok with my booking. The location is very good walking distance to the city centre and shopping centre. I highly recommend the Shamrock Hotel Motel. Next time I’m in Toowoomba, I will definitely be staying at the Shamrock Hotel Motel again. Thanks Again. AAA+++

The room was neat and the price was really affordable. We stayed for a night and everything was close by. They have pokies and bar as well. The staff who checked us in was really friendly and helpful too.

Good poker machines. I put in $50.00 and I got back $60.00. great service. My carer knew the owner of the pub.

The hotel is 100% top tier. Nobody is anticipating the five star treatment in a humble spot like this. However, I can say that the room was very comfortable, the staff was extremely accommodating and the price was affordable. The experience outweighs the price and it’s very telling that the operation maintains a clear standard.

Great pub who serve good hearty meals that are good value.

The Shamrock is our Tuesday afternoon go-to for a friendly drink while the kids are in ballet at the church hall next door! This might sound bad, but it's a great way for busy mums/grandmums to unwind during a frantic week. The pub has become our haven, with wonderful cheerful staff who welcome us with delicious drinks and treats for the kids for an hour or two. We love to unwind at the Shamrock!

Its very exciting to write a post that describes an experience thar outweighs expectations. I was here for two days with my friend and i can tell you that it was next level in every aspect. The attention to detail was evident from the food to the checkout. If you are passing through give this hidden gem a go.

This was a pub my partner and I stumbled on late evening looking for a meal. The staff were very friendly and helpful. She gladly took our order and the meal arrived quickly and was very nice. Thanks for the laughs.

Great. Provided me with free soft drinks as I was designated driver for the night and was surrounded by liqoured up people.
Felt comfortable even though it wasn't my lounge room which speaks volumes.
Nice updated venue. Far cry from the seediest pub in Toowoomba now. Very refreshing atmosphere.

Karaoke night's are always great. Sufficient security to temper any "incidents" means it felt a safe environment for all of us. Meals are good, and well priced. Friendly staff. One of my venues of choice

Friendly little country pub atmosphere. Owned and run by friendly local family. The rooms are great value for money. So far so good. Can't wait to taste the food. Steak and vegies for 20 dollars must be the best value in town.

Very pleasantly surprised by the bistro at the back. Good atmosphere, very friendly service and great pub food at really great prices. Yummy Chicken Parma $15, excellent T-Bone cooked perfectly $20. We walked out very pleased we had made the choice to eat there.

I just finished my stay at the Shamrock Hotel in Toowoomba which lasted a week. I heard a lot of bad stories about the last owners, but to me it seems like they are addressing everything possible.
The last staff at the Shamrock so far as I have heard were all sacked for unprofessionalism, dishonesty, or what have you but I have never been there before so honestly can't comment.
The whole inside and outside of the licensed section of the premises is being renovated to be brought up to a modern look. They are putting in a new TAB, Gaming Room, I think they are even putting in a night club.
I ate there every night and the food was always delicious, especially considering how well priced everything on the menu is.
The entertainment was more than you get from any other pub in Toowoomba I am guessing as there was Karaoke and Live bands on just about every night while I was there.
The rooms were so much bigger than the last hotel that I had to stay in for a month, but they were both around the same price. The rooms were spotless and looked good but no doubt will be even better after the accommodation section of the hotel is finished being fully renovated too.
The housekeeping staff were really friendly, I would probably even describe them more as "Cool."
The bar staff, the management, everyone in that place was just so friendly, I think most guests who stay actually would become friends with them. I also made friends with other guests too, it is just that sort of friendly place.

There is only one place I am staying next time I go to Toowoomba, and I recommend you to too.... Shamrock Hotel in Toowoomba Rocks, thanks guys.

My first night in The Shamrock Hotel, Toowoomba, started out as a bit of a disaster. I had been on the road for 12 hours, had no money, and the place was bouncing!!! None-the-less, I was given a key to a room anyway. (I was able to setup my pc, access my bank, and paid my bill).
So right from the start, I was impressed with the courtesy and consideration shown that night. Now, whenever I am in town, The Shamrock Hotel is my accommodation of choice, and my experiences there just keep getting better.
The dining room is a cosy, cheerful place, the menu extensive, realistically priced, and the quality of the food, and service would make any coastal establishment proud.
The staff are professional, courteous, cheerful and a pleasure to talk to. That's true from Housekeeping to Front of House - and are an obvious tribute to the owners, who themselves, show a keen interest in the welfare of their guests. They are kind, considerate and make it their business to be helpful.
A truly diverse, family oriented hotel, and one of the best from the coast to the outback.

Had dinner at the Shamrock last night before my daughters show Honkey Tonk Angels at the empire , Good food ice cold beer and great prices and service.

Good atmosphere, great value for money. Staff were amazing!!! and got complimentary dessert after. Will visit again soon. Thankyou all
