Eastbound takeaway

I'm on holiday in Echuca with my family for Xmas and we had some chips from this place to take down to the Murray for lunch, and they were the best chips ever!
They were nice and crunchy on the outside, and lovely and pillowy soft inside.
Highly recommended.
Will definately be back when I'm in town.

Excellent fish and chips! We have been trying to get equally good food at takeaway places in Bendigo, but nothing compares… We will be back!

Very good service, yummy food easy to order and owners went above and beyond to bring extra chairs out the front for us to sit on and brought out extra sauce free of charge. Lovely people and lovely place!

Food:
Very popular with the local crowd which says a lot. Reasonably priced with a very good offering. Unlike other takeaways this place makes everything 'a la minute' so it's fresh and tasty. Expect a few minutes wait since it is fried fresh. However you can call and order in advance and they would keep it ready for you.

Lovely service and incredible food. Had chicken souvlaki, stuffed potato cakes and chips and all 3 are as good, if not better than you would travel for in Melbourne.

One of the best fish and chips I have ever had in Australia! The potato cakes and burgers are awesome too. The food is prepared fresh to order and is easily the best value for money. The staff is super friendly and a quick chat with Steven confirms why the food is as good as it is. The bloke has worked as a chef in some of the world's best 5 star hotels. Highly recommended.

Great Burgers, Chips and Potato Cake’s!!!Service was excellent. We will be defiantly be going again when we are in this neck of the woods. Bonus points for the home made potato cake’s and burger patties.

BEST IN ECHUCA I’ve been to most chip shops in Echuca and we got twice as many chips compared to the others for the same price. Chips may need a little longer cook to get a bit more crispy but thats just me. The burgers are awesome. These guys are now our local and we will be going back every time for our f&c cravings. Keep it up guys.

WOW, eastbound takeaway is the best fish and chip shop in town, highly recommend, with there homemade burger patties and potato cake, they freshly batter everything that is fantastic and yummy to eat, the staff are super friendly and nice, so I highly recommend eastbound takeaway for there delicious foods.

Even with 1 person behind the counter and more and more people coming in, he kept it all under control and no one waited too long

Always loved coming here when passing thru. The owners are always friendly & cook great fish & chips, takeaways etc. New owners now but they seem just as nice .. will defs pop in again next time we pass thru Echuca. It's worth veering off the main highway 😀

Lamb souvlaki is very tasty and juicy, if given I can eat every day, highly recommend to try.Definitely I will come again.
