Great menu to choose from, lovely & delicious meal of flat head, chips and salad.
The iced chocolates with cream and ice-cream are huge.
The old fashioned flavoured ice-cream is the bomb.
Great communication from staff, relaxing atmosphere.
Love it!! Will visit again.
Lovely views of lake Hume from the deck outside.

Stopped in for lunch here with the wifey, busy and very popular cafe at the Hume weir wall, love the burgers here and the coffee is amazing too, wonderful views of the lake and a nice outdoor seating area also. Very popular for ice cream with lots of flavours to choose from. Will be back.

Soo beautiful service is Great the atmosphere was so calm and relaxing the owner put the heater on even though she was hot from working so well THANKYOU 😉🤗

What a lovely place to stop and rest, take in the view of the surrounding hills and the weir :) walking up the lovely little path in to the cafe you see lots of lil trinkets, rustic glittery things shining bright, preparing you for the welcoming smiles coming to serve you oh so nice

They have a BIG Ice cream bar lots of favorite flavors something for everyone, I could not possibly fit one in after lunch but I do intend on coming back just for a ice cream and a lil chit chat with the owner and workers.
The store is cutely and quaintly done with lots of nice verses and precious gems lots of lil things to catch your eye.

My kids and I had a great experience popping in for a quick bite to eat for lunch and an ice cream. Staff were all friendly and I really love the new welcoming decor. This is also an excellent place for the kids as they have a playground to keep them entertained.

Excellent cooked breakfast, bright bubbly staff, perfect coffee, great outdoor setting with views. As a hungry multi day mountain bike rider enjoying the sensational scenery what more could you wish for?

This cafe cares —cares about the food and drinks they are serving and gives customer care . They want you to pay cash but will accept card. ( use it or lose it). Great view of Lake Hume

Great service great meal and a little walk to the dam wall with a ice cream tops it off.

Food was yummy and served very quickly hardly a wait. Generous servings and coffee was just right. Loved sitting on deck overlooking Lake Hume. Staff were bright and cheerful very attentive to our needs. Noticed although I didn't have - they had ice cream with many flavours - will try one next time.

Just stopped to see the view but decided to sit for coffee. Not sure about the other reviews but we were treated amazingly. Good and polite service and the most delicious carrot cake I’ve ever had. Great coffee too. Good job and keep it up.

Great options for those who are lactose free, quick service and friendly staff! We were a group of 13 people and ate here about 5 times in a row! Orders were correct and always tasted fresh!

This cafe has always been a popular icon of the Hume Weir. Out the front there is off-road parking with some shaded areas.
An inviting garden path guides you to the side entrance. Friendly staff greeted us and took our lunch order. Our lunch was cooked fast, presented well and tasted great. The real treat there is the ice-cream servery. Plenty of flavours to choose from. The outdoor dining area is quaint and shaded with gorgeous views of the mountains and Lake. There is a kids playground nearby as well. I highly recommend Lake Vue Cafe.

Great spot for a quick hot chocolate on chilly day, or grab an ice cream to cool down mid summer. Ladies are super friendly.
