Excellent traditional Thai food. One if the best Thai restaurants we have eaten at. Friendly staff. Manager/owner very friendly. Fast meals. Very large meals of great value. Highly recommend. Would definitely return if we travel to Sydney again.

I recently dined at Mae Ong Thai Restaurant after hearing rave reviews from a friend who frequents the place. I tried the “Kana moo krob”, a delightful dish of crispy pork stir-fried with Chinese broccoli, chillies, and garlic. Not only was the portion generous, but the flavors were also impeccable. The most surprising part thats exquisite dish was priced at just $15.90! The dish clearly showcased the restaurant’s commitment to authenticity and quality. The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful, with a special shout-out to the young lady in the black T-shirt who took my order. Everything about my experience was flawless. I highly recommend Mae Ong Thai Restaurant – it’s one of the best Thai dining experiences I’ve ever had, and the value for money is outstanding.

I ordered it mild hot, and it was perfect for me. It's still spicy without the burn.
Nice venue with comfortable seating.
The bar lounge alongside the restaurant is convenient to relax and have a drink.

As I am Thai, I can assure you that this restaurant is one of the most delicious Thai authentic restaurants in Sydney. The food portion is huge, and the price is very reasonable—a good place to visit.

Come to this restaurant many times more than I can count. I don’t live in the city but need to find time to come at least once a week or so. As Im Thai I can ensure this is actual authentic thai food and one of the best one in Sydney. The chef are delicate and dedicated to the dishes, big generous portions with a reasonable price. Nice authentic Thai dishes. Reasonable price and large portion. My favorite dishes are Prawn cake (a bit different from other thai restaurant but also taste amazing), pork belly kuay jub. Friendly front staffs.

Cheap price compared to the amount of food you get. Has a collection point to redeem a complimentary dish when you buy 9 dishes. Very recommended.

Great food considering the price is low for lunch way better than there competitors, it's a little place within the pub at Broadway so enter the pub of Broadway shopping centre near burger project and have fresh pad Thai and all there dishes with exceptional quality produce.

This Thai restaurant offers an excellent dining experience with authentic flavors. The portions are generous and prices are reasonable. The staff provides exceptional service, with the front staff who takes the orders being able to speak Chinese. I highly recommend trying their delicious Chinese broccoli stir-fried with crispy pork—it's a must-try dish. The crispy pork is simply the best! Don't miss it!

By far the best Thai off Broadway. Located inside the unassuming Off Broadway Hotel. Huge portions meet authentic tastes, so great for students who don't have to trek to Thaitown for a legit feed. Great to pair with a beer from the pub.
