Northern Chinese Noodle Restaurant

Some of the best dumplings I have ever had. The pan fried were perfection just lightly fried and crispy on one side.
People are lovely and friendly and best of all they have sweet chili sauce and the view sitting outside is great.

Simply made Chinese food done well. Highly recommended for those who appreciate home cooking but have no time to prepare their own.

A comfy and simple restaurant.

I recommend the honey beef, the special braised eggplant, the dried sauteed french beans, egg and chives pastry, and the dumplings.

My personal favourite is the diced vege and meat noodle soup, since it’s a hot and sour soup base.

Delicious home made noodles, dumplings and pork buns! We also tried the stir fried eggplant, potato capsicum dish and found it very tasty. Nice ambiance eating on the footpath and we were even treated to some charming violin music by the owner! Portions were generous and our leftovers were just as delicious the next day. Will definitely be back soon.

Dined & ordered takeaway a few times from this place now. This place is opposite one of the back entrances of the casino.

This is on par to the other Chinese dumpling restaurants in Ultimo, China Town & Newtown that I have tried with a similar menu.

New favourite has got to be the wonton with chilli oil 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼

Other fave is the pan fried dumplings & salt & pepper calamari. Actually I don’t think there is a dish I have not enjoyed from here. Keep up the good work.

Hand-made Noodles! Soups and Dumplings! I love this kind of eatery! Good prices and value for your money! Just around the corner from Darling Harbour. Friendly waitstaff and lots of people buying extra dumplings to take with them after eating. Has a cool/chilled out vibe.

Great Asian food, wide selection of stuff like dumplings, shallot pancakes, noodle soups etc. Ok for prams too. Great addition to Pyrmont! Opposite the star

This is a traditional Chinese dumpling and noodle restaurant with a typical selection of dishes. Everything is made fresh in house from the noodles thru dumpling filling.

It can get very busy at lunch time so consider dinner or afternoon tea instead :)

Great dumplings for the price they serve.
However, service could be better.

From the states - came here for a bite twice because it was close to the hotel and we fell in love the first time. Steamed and pan fried dumplings were great, and reasonably priced! This was a nice refreshing break during our time running around Sydney. Staff and owner were all friendly to us, even gave my girlfriend a fork when she (without admitting) struggled with chopsticks.

I am Chinese. For Chinese people, the taste can be said to be very good.

Food was good and quick! They’re open late into lunch (after 3pm) when many other places in the area are closed. Noodles were great and decent sized serving. I was super full and they were very accommodating to me and my friend.

Have been visiting this place for a few years now. They have recently moved location just a few hundred metres down the road and the new place is beautiful!
Food always great, big portions for the price and they now do eftpos too.
Recommend the boiled or fried pork and chive dumplings as well as the cucumber salad & chicken fried rice.
Highly recommended if around Pyrmont :)

I like egg and chive dumplings. They offer generous servings. Value for many. They only accept cash. I find that as a drawback. Besides, it is a family owned restaurant. Seems as if are in your home having home cooked meal.

Have tried the restaurant 4 times. The dumplings are simply the best I have ever eaten. Prawn dumplings and eggplant dumplings are the reason why I am still going to go back. Staff was very friendly and easy going every single time. Honestly? I can't praise enough. If you are reading this searching for opinions, look no further, it is worth a try! And unlike most restaurants in Pyrmont the prices are reasonable! Thank you for your food and service! Amazing experience

Very generous portion! Nice homemade noodles as not too oily. If u miss mum cook, try it! The dumplings r also nice with big size, recommended as better than other dumplings houses, the waiters also very polite, serve with smiley face!
