Wallan Medical & Specialist Centre

I used this clinic 25 years ago as a small child, then left when I moved away, now returned here after having moving back to area. I've dealt with 3 of the doctors here so far, they are always very good to deal with and happy to take there time and do there jobs properly. I'll be only using this clinic for now on for my 3 kids and myself. They still bulk bill which is very considerate for families and other struggling people not entitled to concession

Dr Niaz is amazing! Such a caring and knowledgeable GP and we're so fortunate to have her in Wallan.
The practice nurses and reception staff are always available to answer questions and assist with any queries or issues that may arise.

Hands down best clinic in Wallan.
Lisa and Debbie such a delight when these ladies answer the phone, although they are busy, they still have a warmth in their voices and genuine.
Ash and Marie, they have been nothing but phenomenal with my kids and their immunisations, stress-free and relaxed for all involved.
All the GP’s are well educated, they spend the time with you when required.

The customer service staff are always pleasant. The waiting room is of very good standard and other patients are polite and quiet. The rooms are also of a high standard. Dr. Katerine Roque is always pleasant, very knowledgeable and will become my husband’s doctor-with luck! My new doctor listens, discusses alternatives and provides best solutions. Her extensive background in medicine is immediately obvious. I feel I am being steered in the right direction. Thanks Wallan Medical & Specialist’s Centre.

I’m a new patient to this clinic and my experiences so far have been excellent. The receptionists are very helpful, Dr Roque is friendly and very thorough, and the nurse who administered a vaccination was also most efficient and amiable. Highly recommended.

I see Dr Matthew Hoo who is a very patient and considered person and one of the most intelligent people I’ve met. He is thorough and never makes you feel rushed. Thoroughly recommend Dr Hoo to anyone seeking a next level GP.

First time I’d attended this clinic. The receptionist (?) we approached welcomed us in a very friendly manner. She made my heart smile. I don’t know her name. She was an absolute delight. My son and I were there to receive our boosters and found that experience to be a pleasant one too. It was a nice friendly atmosphere to be in…. ☺👍

I find most staff to be friendly! I’m hardly ever waiting for too long before my doctor calls me in to the consultation, granted before COVID and we were allowed face to face visits and I find my doctor, Dr. Danny to always be attentive and helpful and respectful and punctual via my phone appointed consultations. And the nurses are always helpful and most of the receptionist are lovely as well 😊

Best medical practice in Wallan , Today I rocked up late for a nurse appointment for mine and my toddler needles. The nurses weren’t fazed by this brought us in the treatment room straight away and make the experience very comfortable for my 2 year old. The care at this medical practise is just amazing My GP Matthew Hoo always listens to my health issues and find the best solution for treatment, one of the only few doctors these days who cares about their patience’s health.

Absolutely amazing clinic. My father has been going here for years, and understand why. Doctor Hoo provided great advice, and empathy. Transferred my file from the Nexus, should have done so years ago! Highly highly recommend, receptionist was also lovely to all patients. Great job guys👍

Im a new patient and only in the area to recover from surgery. Every one made me feel welcome and in good hands. I feel safe in going back for wound check up and stitches removal. If only I had a clinic like this in Bairnsdale.

I would like to thank the staff at Wallan Medical for their professional and caring approach to their patients today. Today 13th October 2022 the flood warnings, torrential rain, road closures and the surgeries computers being down, the staff were the calm in the storm.

I cannot recommend Dr Matthew Hoo enough. He is very knowledgeable and intelligent yet is down to earth enough with excellent application skills. He really listens to your concerns and is very thorough. I trust him with my 4 kids and myself. 10/10

Friendly, professional and caring. They were very busy but seemed to all work well with each other and our wait time was less then 10min considering how busy they were today. They made my daughter feel very comfortable receiving her first covid vaccine. Thank you.

Staff have always been friendly and helpful. The nurses are absolutely amazing. And as far as doctors are concerned, some you click with, some you don't. My original doctor unfortunately moved over to the west, so it was trial and error until I found Dr Danny. Overall..very happy with the service and care of this clinic.

I have been going here since I was a baby. At the time my Doctor was John now I see Dr Danny, he’s fantastic and my partner now sees him too and he’s been amazing through a lot of difficult times with him this past year. Couldn’t recommend Danny enough he cares and really listens, you can also have a bit of a laugh too. All the staff are brilliant here!

From reception to doctor and nurse they were all so friendly and welcoming. I've definitely found my new local clinic. Made me feel comfortable instantly! Thank you all!

Dr Danny is always pleasant and on time, he always makes the time to see me at short notice or makes a Telehealth call. I find him very thorough.
