Brookfield House Camden

Visited on Friday for my second visit and enjoyed the Cosmic High Tea! It was such a beautiful experience, as was my first one also. The scones are delicious, and the savoury and sweets are such a special treat compared to your standard high teas! All the staff are so lovely and welcoming :) will continue to keep returning and recommending!

Took my mum there on Sunday for our annual Mother’s Day high tea and it was the best high tea we have been to yet. The house is beautifully decorated and clean. The staff are super friendly and the tea menu is 4 pages long! Highly recommend this experience if you haven’t been or are thinking of doing a high tea (they do them all year round).

Absolutely charming! A true gem in Camden! Brookefield House offers a high tea experience that is simply unparalleled. The ambience is charming, with beautifully restored rooms that transport you to a bygone era. The selection of teas and the chosen treats are just perfect! A must visit for anyone looking to indulge in a luxurious high tea treat. Many beautiful rooms to choose from that are private too! Definitely checkout their little gift store too that has many gorgeous pieces for sale!

What an amazing venue!
I've been to many high tea events, but have never had a room just for our group, and it made the experience so much better!
Every room is decorated differently, with comfortable seating, lush wallpapers and decor, and of course, delicious food.
Will be back!!

Such a nice place to have high tea. Loved the delicate and beautifully decorated cakes, scones and savoury items. Floral displays with feminine, pretty tasteful decor throughout the house made it a special place to visit. I would definitely recommend Brookfield House.

My partner and I visited this amazing place for our anniversary. The team went to extra lengths to make sure we enjoyed our visit customising our high tea experience with heart chocolates and more. Food was second to none with burs5ing flavours. Will definitely be going back for another visit.

We had my mother in laws 70th birthday celebration here. Such a beautiful location and the high tea was delicious - even the Gluten Free one! The staff were lovely and everyone commented what a great time they had. As a bonus the tea/gift shop also has the cutest tea sets!

Brookfield House is unlike another other high tea experience I've had in Sydney and a must try for tea enthusiasts. The owner was there at the time and it's a family run mother/daughter business (aka the "Tea Ladies) and they are so lovely!
- It's set inside a large refurbished heritage house that has a beautiful old world charm.
- As you enter you will immediately be transported to another world full of beautiful florals, lovely décor, crystal chandeliers and an extensive menu of exquisite teas of all kinds.
- The teas have all been given their own little personality, like "I'm a holiday in a cup, bursting of fruity goodness", rather than just "Black Tea" which is a refreshing change!
- If you have sweet tooth I recommend the quirky twist on a traditional high tea and ordered the "Retro Beach High Tea" (see photos). It came with handmade patisserie treats including: a life ring donut, jelly apple spiced crumble lagoon with surfboards, cookie oysters with chocolate pearls, mousse ice cream cones and a selection of scrumptious savoury treats (plus the fresh, warm scones, cream and jam you'd expect)!
- It feels like no detail has been spared and everything feels special, but I would recommend booking in advance as is already hard to get a table since it's become popular quickly in the local area (when we were there a bridal shower or hens was happening, plus a birthday/girls day out).
- Service was lovely and I must mention the beautiful gift shop where you can buy your own stunning tea cups and saucers and so on. We left we some packets of the teas we tried from the menu and some new ones too.
We'll be back!

Thankyou ladies especially Natasha and her attentive staff for a beautiful high tea brunch. We booked the 1896 room for a highschool reunion. The decor was just charming perfect for 10ppl @ $55 p/h. I think we had the "vintage rose" high tea, scones were fluffy and sweets were so fresh, savories were tasty and your choice of a pot of amazing selection of teas or coffee also..Ps. if you go there take a photo on their blue butterfly 🦋 chair up the side path also, make sure you book in advance.

The attention to detail from shop interior to the selection of food in the high tea sets made this a truly enjoyable experience. The owners and staff also put in so much care in ensuring that your food and drinks arrived at the right time.

Loved the hearty Brookfield Breakfast Tea and I can't to go back to try the other tea selections. When I think of Camden, this will be the first place that comes to mind!

Absolutely beautiful venue. Food is exquisitely presented and super delicious. The decor creates a feeling of 'old world charm'. Great venue for a Bridal Shower, girls get together or a special couples High Tea. Will definitely come back.

A lovely and cosy high-tea house tucked away in beautiful Camden. Booking is a must to avoid disappointment. Having said that, we tried our luck and walked in and scored a table!

Beautiful high tea! The food was not only delicious but very pretty. The staff were lovely and accommodating to the needs of our group.
The scones were big, fluffy and tasty and the accompanying jam was so good we ended up buying some to take home.

Myself and 3 friends had our high tea there. The food was delicious, and there was more than enough food for us. The rooms are all beautifully presented, and you get to eat from the lovely crockery that is sold in the gift shop. Can't wait to go back

It's such a lovely place to have a high tea. We had the Retro Beach High Tea. The scones were so good. However, one would have been enough, then more of the second serving variety with a bit more savoury . Thought it was a bit expensive for what we got, but the experience and rooms with the shop was very sweet.

Our expectations were blown away. Great food and service. Made our Mother’s Day extra special. Thank you!
