Exactly what we needed for an overnight stay from Sydney to Melbourne. Nicely updated country motel room, comfy bed, clean bathroom, great price. Also had dinner here - generous servings, reasonable price, pleasant hostess. Far enough from the highway that road noise was no more than a murmer. The gardens are nice too.

Perfect spot to stop on the Hume when traveling with a dog (or any animals for that matter as there are also stables and yards). The rooms are clean and comfortable. There is a restaurant on-site, and they're licensed (with a reasonable selection of affordable wines). It is far enough off the freeway and main road to not hear traffic or trucks. Muffin and I will definitely be staying again.

Nice! We had an unplanned overnight here as there wasn't a room to be had in Gundagai and it was a pleasant surprise. The room had a surprising and unusual attention to detail - king size bed, instant hot water for tea, good lighting, good touch reading lights beside the bed, magnetic strip for cutlery.

Total value for money.
Nothing was a problem when you stay here, the ladys (mangers) where kind, helpfull and polite.
We aslo had dinner in the dining room , 10 /10 cooked to prefection.

Lovely quiet spot. Modest clean accommodation, being progressively upgraded. Nice little licensed restaurant (limited but adequate menu), with comfy dining chairs (one of the upgrades)! You can even buy some free range eggs from their own hens. Light breakfast included in price. Highly recommend for overnight stop between Sydney and Melbourne.

The cleanest and comfiest I have had in a while with my dog.
Booked an hour ahead, arrived and the heater was on turned on. It was freezing and raining outside so I was very pleased. Very friendly and helpfull staff.
Resturant and plenty of food available with room service.
My dachshund and I loved the stay and we will be back.

Clean room, comfy warm bed and an excellent shower. Proper milk for my tea in the morning. There’s a dog run and room for your horses. Really good value. Would recommend.

The room was exceptionally clean and very comfortable. They thought of everything you could possibly need. Great value for money too. We had dinner at the motel dining room which was very tasty and generous. The complimentary breakfast was also good with every type of cereal including gluten free you could ever want.

Super clean surrounds & rooms are spotless. Tariff is very reasonable & includes an excellent buffet continental breakfast. Dinner was extra but was good value as were the wines. Owner/managers are welcoming, polite & helpful. This motel midway between Melbourne & Sydney is a wonderful surprise.

I stayed overnight (1 Mar 2019). A great little place to stay if you want a break travelling down to Melbourne or up to Sydney on the Hume Highway. Owners are very engaging and will chat with you about the local area. The Restuarant is good with a good selection. A continental breakfast is included. The room was very comfortable and had the quietest air con that I have ever experienced. I would stay there again and I obviously recommend it.

Spacious comfortable clean accomodation. Modern air conditioning, television and beds. Friendly staff and well run business with an exceptionally awesome continental breakfast spread. Horse friendly and beautiful surroundings. Modestly priced with an on-site restaurant with locally brewed craft beers and espresso coffee. We’ll be back thank you!

We've stayed here a couple of times now and will definitely be back.
The restaurant has your basic grub and it's delicious. They also have the best selection of beers in the bar I've ever seen for a country joint.
The (free) continental breakfast has everything in your wildest dreams.

Don't look anywhere else this place will surprise you .low price but service 5 star !!!! . Best place to stay halfway between Sydney and Melbourne.

Heating in rooms fabulous Bed very cosy. Feels like being home. Breakfast huge choice. Will be back many more time .quality in all areas. Owners so friendly and attentive. They go out of their way to make your stay fantastic.
New owner have done major upgrades and it shows their passion for their business.

All round great hospitality. We checked in late (around 9.20pm) and the staff were happy to cook us a meal and give us time to enjoy it. They offered an approachable list of food options. The food was great, the beer selection was huge and the room was modest but comfortable. Massive continental breakfast spread all included in the price. No hesitation in recommending to anyone on a budget.

Lovely motel half way between Sydney & Melbourne.
Clean, comfortable, refurbished rooms, friendly owners & staff and good dining room with licensed bar.
It's also pet friendly and well priced.
Well worth a detour off the boring highway for a relaxing nights stay.
I will be back again when in this neck of the woods.

Stayed on way north.
Nice clean room. Good tea making facilities. Had air con and good sized telly. Motel has its own licenced restraunt which has a small but nice menu. A nice family run motel that makes you feel welcome. Would gladly recommend.😊😊

Excellent friendly staff, and the best steak meal you will ever get. Beds are also very comfortable.Great place to rest your ponies/horses, when traveling interstate. Yards are good size, and very safe. Have been here before and would use again.
