Maianbar Beach Cafe

I walked with my family from Bundeena to Maianbar last Wednesday. We took a brief rest outside the shop when the owner returned. Although the shop was closed, she was generous enough to let us buy a few Paddle Pops from the shop so that we were more refreshed on the way back.

A big thank-you to the owner. We appreciate her kindness.

Came here on a public holiday and enjoyed a delicious burger!
Considering they were short staffed they served tasty food with a beach view. There is a very extensive menu to choose from, just don't come close to close because you may have limited or no options (understandably). Expect cosy homey vibes when you walk in and take the time to sit back and enjoy an easy breezy sunday.

We stopped on our way over to Bonnie Vale Campground and popped in for a quick bite and a coffee. Coffee was excellent, My chicken avocado and relish salad roll was to die for and the service was top notch.
Highly recommend stopping in or popping over if you're doing the walk from Bundeena, well worth it. Still dreaming about that roll. 😍🤤🤤

I love this essential Bundeena Maianbar experience . All the eats are treats ……. sitting on the verandah looking out to Port Hacking. Proprietor Samantha maintains terrific standards even though customer numbers, in the outpost location, must be unreliable. AND there’s the beautiful walk through The Basin to get there !

A great experience - the choices are great for people with different dietry needs, the food was fabulous and well priced, the coffee was exactly how I like it, and the service was friendly and very helpful. Definitely worth the drive through the National Park to eat in such beautiful surrounds.

Great little cafe run by a Lovely lady! Nice coffee and a great bacon and egg role. Have a tourist a great bit of info of where to go so couldn’t be happier!

I going on long rides through national park and always try to include a visit to the Mainbar Cafe.
l love the beef burger or big breakfast and coffee. Sam and her staff are friendly and the place has a great vibe with views.

So nice to have this cafe close by the beach. The owner is so lovely, when though when I went she was on her own due to covid. The food and fresh juice we ordered were delicious. Highly recommend to stop by on your way before, after or even during your beach visit.

Nice little cosy cafe. Had lunch there and food was very good. The staff were polite and friendly.

Well, it's a very nice & quiet place. The view is great and you feel like you're in a small village next to the sea.

Gorgeous beach side cafe with that old time local vibe of personal service, flexibility and fun. Menu is for all types - meat eaters, vegetarian, vegan, gluten free etc. If you need a special meal or have allergies they’ll run you up a special suitable yummy option. And who can go past an all day breakfast!!!! 10 out of 10, don’t miss out!!!! Oh and you must have a milkshake - they are the real deal made with ice cream and served in a proper size container. None of that skanky half size trick that so many other places try to pull.

Took visiting family members to this Beach Café and everyone was really impressed with the wonderful food & hot drinks, the gorgeous beachside location and the friendly (& funny) staff.
A good selection of artworks, memorabilia, knick-knacks, as well as old-fashioned lollies, too.
Highly recommend this hidden treasure to anyone travelling through the Royal National Park.

Always busy but never too busy for regulars. Love Sam's place. Great coffee and delicious food with a beautiful outlook.

Brother recently purchased a place there and the cafe is my now local when I visit the place. Sam is wonderful and the coffee is amazing. Worth a trip to a lovely spot where you can relax, meet the great staff and grab a really nice lunch or coffee.
