National Dinosaur Museum

I went to this place last week and it was the best dinosaur museum I've ever been to in Australia. They have plenty of crsytals and dinosaur items to choose from. Also Natasha and Connor was great help in showing us around and showing us all the minerals and cool facts about the minerals, fossils and items. Connors fun fact about cinnarbar was cool, extremely smart man.
I will recommend this place to all my friends and family in Turkey when I fly back in 2 weeks.

I took my grandson to the National Dinosaur museum on the 19th of Mach 2024. He loves dinosaurs 🦕 and fossils . We were welcomed by a lady named Cindy, who I can’t praise enough. She was so friendly and very welcoming and her knowledge about dinosaurs was beyond belief. First she explained what they have up stairs and outside My grandson was so excited and couldn’t wait to look around. Cindy gave him a scavenger hunt which he was so eager to do, when he finished he got a gift. He was stuck on a question and Cindy was so happy to help him find the answer and explain to him about the answer by the way my grandson knows a lot about dinosaurs. I cannot praise this place enough so much fun for young and old dinosaurs. I even learned things. I very highly recommend to visit the National Dinosaur Museum when you’re in Canberra.

Nice place for kids to learn about dinosaur and fossils. Free tours very informative. Can spend 3 hours easily with kids. There is crystal shop in the ground floor kids love to pick up lots of stones for the collections. Staff friendly. Plenty of parking.

Very nice place for kids and kids alike. So many different dinosaurs both inside and outside the museum. My baby really enjoyed the visit.

So nice very good if you have kids. You can buy tickets at the front desk. As well there are REAL fossils and a meteorite to touch!!! The gift shop is awesome got 2 items

Our kids had lots of fun and knowledge, must attend information session of kids are in school.

Awesome place had so much fun walking through the displays and staff, so helpful and great service made the experience 10x better. The gift shop was amazing.

It's an amazing place to take the kids, its interesting and fun, the tour with Hritik really made our visit great, he was so informative and really engaged the kids, he even had me listening in the end, definitely recommended it!

When you have a dinosaur lover in the house, this is an excellent place to take them for a fully immersive experience. The displays are so lifelike and some of the textures feel like real skin.

The venue is set out well, with the main tour upstairs and around the whole first floor and then its outside to the more freely interactive statue garden.

Great areas for some photos as kids enjoy the outdoors. Highly recommend.

At the exit you can get so many beautiful souvenirs rocks that were amazing 🤩 totally recommend even for all the family

Really great place to take the kids or any Dinosaur enthusiast. Lots to see and learn and plenty of real fossils! The play area outside is great for kids too.

Super fun place to be! Great for families with young kids. Great displays and collections and very educational. There is also a crystal and rocks display. You can even purchase some amazing pieces. The gift shop is small but full of cute and fun stuff. I think it is a must visit place for kids and even for adults!

So many dinosaurs inside and outside.. no cue for tickets and so many information about dinos. Will take my other kids this public holiday coming up!

Crazy place! Kids absolutely loved the dinosaur props and the set up.

Had a great visit, kids loved it. 3, 5, 7, 10 ,12. Very helpful staff. Good value and range in gift shop.

Loved it, great for all ages, loads to see & so much to learn. Very fun and welcoming with lots of things to touch, see & hear so great for kids.
Make sure to leave at least an hour for the incredible gift shop!

This place was better than I thought, lots of interesting facts and you get to experience and see many artifacts and touch some real dinosaur bones. We spent about 2 hours here and took lots of photos. The souvenir shop sell so many wonderful things for the kids. My son who is 9 was amazed with everything and enjoyed reading and learning.

This was a very eye opening display of dinosaurs, fossils, and other prehistoric items. The life like dinosaurs in the garden area are a feature as well as the gift shop which has a lot of crystals for sale.
