The bacon and eggs were delicious, along with the coffee which can be ordered just how you liked it.

A stunning cafe in the heart of Bowral, Elephant Boy Cafe delivered the goods. The old school office/library vibe of the place felt homely and warm. Service was friendly and prompt. The food was delicious and very well cooked. If anything, the beetroot in my dish was a bit too hard, but otherwise the salmon and other elements were spot on. The big breakfast was hearty and well cooked. Highly recommend to visit if you're in the Southern Highlands! Thanks for having us :)

We recently celebrated my Father's 70th Birthday at Elephant Boy and Haley and the team went above and beyond to create a fabulous afternoon. The team catered to 30 of our guests in an exclusive dining space. It set the perfect atmosphere with personal touches including the use of their Bluetooth speakers so we could listen to our own playlist during the lunch to suit the occassion.
Service was fantastic, food and drinks were fast, fresh, DELICIOUS and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend!

What a lovely place to a bite to eat. It has such a lovely feel to it. The food was delicious 😋 and the staff were friendly.

Wonderful cafe in the heart of Bowral. Several great GF options and even some dairy free slices. Both the date, pecan espresso cakes and the GF DF pistachio slice were amazing. Good coffee, great atmosphere surrounded by books. A little busy, but staff were ultra friendly and service fast for peak time on a weekend.

Lovely cafe with really friendly service, especially Ellie who was super proactive and kind. Highly recommend the Bowral Classic tea and cakes w/ icecream! We came at 3pm and the service was fast/efficient. Will be back soon

We had a delightful breakfast at this cafe. The food was well cooked and delicious. The coffee was quick and of good quality. The service was attentive. Would recommend this cafe to anyone. A quaint relaxing spot in the main street of Bowral.

Lovely place with a home made European food. So rare to find in Sydney. You pumpkin soup and zucchini bake were amazing!
The interior makes you feel very relaxed. All meals we had were delightful and a coffee was perfectly crafted.
So pity this place is not in Sydney and I can't come here often with my family.
When I am on the road next time and drive through this place it's the place where I will definitely stop.
The family who owns this place were such a nice people to talk to. Thank you for an awesome lunch we had!

It's been way too long between visits but as always, friendly service, fab food and delicious coffee means that it's always worth popping in!

Excellent service with friendly staff. My coffee and cheesecake was very delicious. The rooms are spacious, cosy and a perfect reprieve.

There was a minor error on the order that was probably due to my Yorkshire accent rather than a mistake by the waitress. Unexpectedly the owner pit this right at no additional cost. The gesture was greatly appreciated.
The food was well cooked, hot and quite delicious. Highly recommended this cafe/restaurant.

Without doubt, the best bacon and egg rolls in Bowral. The decor is also really interesting and the staff are great.

Accommodating to a dairy free dietary requirement. Very popular and busy. If you are a large group I would suggest booking. Quirky decor. A pleasant experience.

On a day out in Bowral we stumbled across the elephant cafe. Aesthetically beautiful with book shelves filled with books everywhere (my kind of cafe). My husband, son and my self were treated lovely and the staff are amazing. The food was lovely and had enough choices on the menu that didn’t bombard your mind. We will be back!

I've been here twice now and both times the food has been amazing! The staff are very friendly and welcomed me at the door and were very attentive and polite. The food came out quickly and they have a food and drink item for everyone and its not expensive, would highly recommend!

I ate here back when Barrengary Mtn was closed to through traffic for cars, so I took the bus to explore Bowral. I thought the Elephant Boy was great! Great atmosphere. Great service! Great food! My husband and I will be driving our car up the Barrengary today to go to Bowral and I’m looking forward to eating at the Elephant Boy. I was sad to see some very negative reviews. I think they deserve a much higher rating.
