The Beachcomber Hotel & Resort, Ascend Hotel Collection

We recently stayed at Beachcomber Toukley and had an absolutely phenomenal experience! The service was impeccable, but one staff member, Rachel, truly stood out. Her attention to detail and friendly demeanor made our stay truly unforgettable. From check-in to check-out, Rachel went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. The resort itself was stunning, with amazing views and luxurious amenities. I can't wait to return to Beachcomber Toukley, where the service is as breathtaking as the views. Five stars all the way!

Where to start!! 2hours from Cronulla, all freeway from the eastern distributor, which is great. From the moment we were greeted at reception to checkout was a great & easy experience.. friendly staff throughout the resort. Cocktails were delicious, I know I sampled a few 🤗 .. the food was also delicious, great menu with plenty to pick from. I recommend sitting on the deck as the view of the lake makes for a very relaxing afternoon. We went for our 33rd wedding anniversary, was the perfect long weekend. There were families there so it’s a good location if you have kids. The pool area was lovely, clean and relaxing. The resort has a tab/sports bar which my husband was impressed with, he should know as betting and football are his “hobbies” 😉
Outdoor area was undercover but there is also tables in the grass area too. We had a family catchup lunch (8 of us) on the Saturday and the food was spot on, all meals serviced together.
Lastly, the breakfast was 5 stars … fabulous buffet, and even a pancake machine/station. Great variety for everyone I thought. Hot food was hot & freshly cooked (sometimes you go other buffets and it can be just warm).
Sum up my experience is DEFINITELY BOOK YOURSELF A HOLIDAY/GETAWAY!!

Went here for my daughters 18th.. have to say very nice. Very big and open and it smelt really nice.. lol. Outdoor area was lovely.. staff were friendly they allowed us to bring our dog outside.. food was amazing! Great photo spot! Can't say anything bad..

Had lunch today at the Beachcomber.
Service was slow , however food was excellent. Portions were huge.
I had Caesar salad and it was delicious. Chips crispy on the outside well cooked inside. Again a huge portion was given. My partner had the chicken burger, it was exceptional. I very much enjoyed this meal. Truly delicious. Staff friendly and amiable. Highly recommend for an enjoyable lunch. Lovely view.

What a pleasant surprise this place is!! You walk through the door & it’s like another world - the staff are great & the rooms are excellent. Everything is contained within the resort so you don’t really have to leave - the food was great & breakfast was really good. We stayed for 2 nights with a lake facing view which is magnificent we will definitely be back

This hotel is incredibly pretty and the staff are absolutely amazing and so friendly which made our stay so enjoyable and stress free. Rooms are super clean and comfortable. The view from our poolside/waterview room was stunning. I highly recommend. Can't wait to go back.

My husband and I just spent 3 nights at this lovely Hotel. We were very happy with the comfort and cleanliness of our room. Each and every staff member we spoke to were polite and provided great customer service. The buffet breakfast was delicious and our meals in the restaurant were also yummy. Beautiful pool and view. Thank you for making our stay memorable.

We had our wedding in their foreshore function room and it was fantastic! The room was spacious enough for 80 guests and still had a large dancefloor. It was decorated and presented immaculately and perfectly matched our white/green theme.
The wait staff were fantastic and the event coordinators made the day run smoothly. Communication on the lead up was perfect.

Rachel’s customer service was amazing.She truly made a positive impact on our stay at the hotel. We greatly appreciate the exceptional service and warm hospitality we received. I will not hesitate to recommend your hotel to friends, family, and colleagues, and I look forward to returning in the future.

Visited The Beachie restaurant for dinner with friends. We all had a great time.

The service was quick and the specials were great value for money. Unfortunately they had sold out of some of the menu items, however the staff were lovely and went out of their way to make our experience positive. One of the staff members, Nial, was incredible as he went above and beyond to ensure the dietary requirements of our group memebers were met.

The environment was beautiful and inviting with many seating options and plenty of parking available. Lots of spots for nice pictures.

Would 100% recommend. Great to visit with your partner, friends or family!

Hotel is nice and clean. Staff are nice and friendly. We enjoyed our stay for the long weekend. Suggest to open up room service till midnight during peak periods. It's more convenient to have a nice swim and eat in. Overall lovely stay.

Great hotel, beautiful rooms if you're facing the pool and lake. Unfortunately, my view is the main road and carpark, which i was aware of when booking. Reception staff and bar staff are all brilliant, very professional. Unlike other resorts, its affordable to stay,eat and drink. Fav section is the day beds by the pool. Glad i came to unwind.

Our 3 rd time staying at the Beachcomber, it gets better every year, helpful staff, clean rooms, got to park the jetskies on the whatf in front. Menu has been updated, gaming room was kind to us, paid for the stay, awesome breakfast, had a poolside room, great sunsets and not noisy. We will be back, keep it up.

Easy to find off the main road. Newly renovated rooms. There were still some bread crumbs on the floor from the previous occupants. But the view was great and so was the pool and the food as well. Pretty close to the local Coles. The nearby Asian take away was cheap and good. Haven't seen $13 stir fried noodles in a while.

Where do I even start? Upon arrival, the reception ladies were absolutely lovely, accommodating and kind, the room was breathtaking, I didn’t imagine it to be so beautiful even though I saw the photos upon booking, the photos don’t do justice! The pool the staff the food at the bistro the location being only a couple hours from Sydney, the staff especially, they were so warm and kind, friendly and welcoming I couldn’t fault anything honestly
I highly recommend this hotel! I posted alot on my socials and everyone was asking where this place was, I was incredibly happy with my experience and you will definitely see us again real soon thanks so much for everything

The loveliest hotel staff I have encountered in this country. Had to leave early due to an unforeseen circumstance and everything was handled so well.
Pool area and rooms were also great. Will definitely be back.

Loved our stay here! Service was great. Hotel is newly renovated. Food and drinks at the bar were fantastic. Pool was heated and again poolside service was great. Buffet breakfast was amazing. Will definitely be returning again and accommodation was so reasonably priced.

I stayed there on the weekend. What a fabulous hotel!!! I booked into a basic room but was upgraded to a pool view room with balcony and water views…thank you so much!
The entire hotel was beautiful and I was impressed with everything.. from the decor to the lovely girls working on reception.. so friendly, warm and helpful to the buffet breakfast ( the chef was outstanding!) and facilities! Honestly I could not find fault with anything!! The heated pool and spa so lovely… I highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a relaxing but luxurious time away…thank you so much for making my stay so wonderful!!! 😊😊 I will definitely be back!!

I celebrated my wife’s 40th Birthday at this amazing place 😊 The ambiance was obviously awesome but what surprised us was the hospitality of the staff. From Ellie managing our reservation and making sure that the venue is set as per our requirements to Cassey being an outstanding host with an infectious smile making sure that every request of ours gets answered as ‘Yes’ 😊
Even though the weather played a bit of spoilt sport for the function, we thought our Hawaiian theme will go for a toss due to sudden drop in temperature; but the hotel authorities quickly jumped in and started the heaters, pulled down the outdoor blinds making sure we can still enjoy as planned. 🎁 thank you to the management and the staff of Beachcomber… you guys are awesome.

A beautiful place with gorgeous food and nice views. There’s not a huge amount in the local area but this does just make the Beachie stand out more. Rooms spacious, modern and clean and the food was a real highlight.
