The Plant Shack

Great place for plant-loving people (I am not one, but my 7 companions who went there absolutely loved the tour and shopping). Staff are very polite and helpful. The cafe and sitting area is a great plus! Enjoyed the shaded area surrounded by greens!

The Plant Shack goes above and beyond in every aspect of their business. Their plants are beautifully grown; excellent quality and the service their staff provide is incomparable. Everyone working there is so passionate and warm, it’s always a pleasure to shop there. More than worth the drive from Brisbane, especially now that they have a cafe on site!

Had a fantastic experience here last fortnight! Hubby and I were on the search for camellias and had a couple on hold at other nurseries however I spoke with Peter on the phone who sent me through photos of the stock they had so I cancelled our other orders. We were very impressed with the customer service so far so we headed down to the plant shack where we spent the best part of an hour with Peter as he very patiently helped us pick out 22 of the perfect plants! A staff member also gave us complimentary bottles of cold water whilst we were standing out in the sun choosing our new plants- definitely a nice touch. We have been to the plant shack before and had good experiences but this one in particular was exceptional! Our favourite nursery that’s for sure 😀

I went to the Plant Shack on Mon 15/4/24 & was delighted to be served by Ben, who was a very personable young gentleman, who was very knowledgeable & more than helpful for my needs. With his advice, he helped me purchase some beautiful plants for the containers on my front porch & back verandah. I came away a happy lady, & am pleased to report, that all the beautiful plants are looking comfortable in their new home. Thank you Ben & Plant Shack, I could spend all day just browsing, & purchasing more. 🤗

Love this place! Steven has a great knowledge and is always happy to help. Plants are healthy and there is so much to choose from. We also got some gorgeous planters from here, for indoor and outdoor purposes.

Lovely garden centre, clean and tidy. plants all look very healthy,staff very helpful and friendly too and super organised. There are plenty of garden accessories to choose from.A big thank you to all your staff.😀

A wonderful local nursery with a cute coffee spot. Great service and amazing advice together with a wide range of plants, pots, ornaments and curiosities. A happy place to spend some time amongst beautiful plants.

The Plant Shack at Deception Bay is a great place to buy all your garden needs. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable and are so friendly, it is always a pleasure to do business with them. I highly recommend them to anyone.

Personally it's 'THE PLACE' to go in regards to your garden/garden advice etc. I've treasured my visits for WELL over 25yrs & each time I leave content & always with more than I went for. Well worth travelling 25klm each way. Moving interstate, we will miss this place... where all workers always r friendly, have smiles on their faces & r sooo full of info, advice & never brush u off.

I absolutely love visiting Plant Shack, walking through and seeing their displays gives alot of inspiration for things to do in my garden!

There is always a large range of plants and very helpful staff who go that extra mile to do what they can for their customers. I have become a bit of a regular and will continue to come back and support such a great local business!

I went here a couple of months ago and i was in plant and pot heaven! There are plants and pots to suit any style and price. I will definitely be back here soon and I've told my friends and family to check it out too!

One of my favourite places for plants. Well priced and great quality plants. Rick is always so friendly and helpful. He is a wealth of knowledge and a top bloke.

friendly service and professional plant advice. And these days - I’m happy to pay a bit extra to a local business for that.

Fantastic little garden centre with very helpful staff and lots of them to assist with your garden questions. I like the little rescue section which has a range of quite healthy plants, discounted significantly. highly recommended and dog friendly

Went down to Plant shack for a look. Got there 20 mins before closing. Was greeted by Rick . Was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Knew all the plants i was chasing and how to take care of them. Was a very pleasant experience. Will definitely be going back.
