Working at Spare Second Recording is always an absolute blast. The chief engineer Lachy has the experience, knowledge, and skills to bring your vision to life in a supportive environment. I could not recommend this place more.

I met Lachy while working on my album last year and now he has become a mentor as I continue to create music.

Even if you don’t know other instrumentalists who can play on your tracks Lachy can hook you up with the best, and he himself is a talented musician so he really knows what he’s talking about. He’s created a community at Spare Second which is a joy to be a part of.

Since discovering Spare Second Recording I cant help but come back for more.

Spare Second is truly a hidden gem. I'm a regular customer in the rehearsal space, and have used the studio facilities both as a musician and engineer.
Lachy puts his heart and soul into this studio, and it shows in the work he produces. From a demo, all the way through tracking, mixing, and mastering, Spare Second is a special little place that always seems to produce content above expectations, for an extremely competitive rate.

This place is quaint, cosy, and homely. Any time spent here is well worth your money.

Have had nothing but great experiences at spare sound during our time demo-ing, recording, practicing, and receiving mixes/masters. Great creative space to work alongside engineers who are committed to achieving your desired sound. Reliable gear, great location, would recommend to all musicians looking to demo/record or simply practice.
