Guardian Childcare & Education Bruce

Very satisfied with Gardian Childcare& Education. The staff are very eager every morning to greet my child. I have had both my children coming to this organisation and each time very happy with the level of care they have and are providing to my family. Front office team are great if I have a question. The level of hygiene standards and protocols are high. Thank you Guardian Team at Bruce.

Piece of mind is all a parent can ask for when they send their child to childcare and Guardian Bruce brings that in spades! As a early years teacher myself, I know what best practice looks and feels like and the quality of the care at Guardian is second to none. They staff are incredibly warm and responsive and my son runs into the centre each day excited for the day a head. That is all I need to see to know that he is looked after, loved and engaged. We could not ask for better! Thank you to all the staff and leadership at Guardian!

We are very happy with Guardian Bruce for Amelia. All of the early learning teachers and admin staff have been so approachable, welcoming and supportive. Storypark is also really great to hear what activities they are doing and the intended learning outcomes. I love reading what Amelia has been up to and seeing the photos. We can see that in the few weeks of starting childcare she has become more confident and is learning really useful skills. My mouth waters each time I read the daily menu. It is great to hear about the various healthy food they get to eat. It is also really sweet that birthday’s are celebrated with a cake. Each time I pick up Amelia I love to peek through the window to see what Amelia is up to and it makes me feel so happy to see her talking or playing with other children and playing with a puzzle, toys or reading. I will definitely recommend Guardian Bruce to friends with children in early development years because it has been really good for Amelia and our family so far.

The staff are beautiful, caring and thoughtful who make my children feel safe and included. You can tell the kids are genuinely happy to be at school with the educators and their friends. They get exposure to so many different activities and get to do a huge variety of educational activities. They are fed extremely well and I genuinely couldn't be happier with the centre.

My son has attended this centre for the last 2.5 years and the experience has been amazing. The educators are well equipped and responsive to needs. My son is going to be sad to leave at the end of this year. Thank you Bruce Guardian Childcare & Education for a job really well done!

Amazing educators who truly care about the children. I feel relaxed leaving my two year old with the educators all day. My child absolutely adores all of them and sometimes I think my daughter loves them more than she loves me!! We see them all as family not just educators. The centre itself is clean and full of fun activities for the children to do. The play area is huge and plenty of fun activities for the little ones. The educators keep you informed daily with things about the day and about your child which is a bonus. They supply yummy and healthy meals and my daughter loves it. This centre is more than a centre it's a second home for my daughter and she loves it so much. I cant recomended Guardian in Bruce highly enough. Honestly best centre!! My daughter will be staying there until BIG school. We are very lucky to have found them <3 It's worth every penny!

Working here at Guardian has been an absolute dream! All the staff are very welcoming, and positive, we strive to provide the best care possible for all of our children and I couldn't recommend a better place for your child to attend. The care we provide is top quality, and we want you as a the parents or caregivers of the child/children to be 100% satisfied with care you will be receiving. The safety of the children is our top priority and we want them to feel safe, supported and secure with in our care. Absolutely could not recommend a better child care centre for your children.

Our daughter's love the team and environment at Guardian Bruce! Our eldest has been going since 6 months and will continue through and starts preschool next year. They've been great at staying connected and keeping routine throughout difficult times.

Every part of our experience at Guardian Bruce has been excellent. It’s always hard to leave your child in the care of others but the wonderful educators here have made it the best experience possible. My son loves his friends, that activities and especially, his educators!

My son has started in Guardian Bruce since he was just 2,5 mons old. I used to worry to much about his wellbeing in daycare. But after nearly a year my son stay with them, i am totally happy now. He is very active, socialize, happy and love all the staffs in there. 100% reccomend this centre for parents. I will have a second one coming soon and i am happy to send her there when she is around 4,5mons.

Love having our kids at Guardian Bruce. We were worried it would be an impersonal experience given that it is a chain, but boy were we wrong. Siobhan and her team have made us feel welcomed, supported, and like family since day dot. I have no stress when my boys are there - which is a gift in itself. Highly recommend these guys!

The educators are caring and responsive to the children, the program and documentation reflects my child and his development. Siobhan (Centre Manager) and Hayley (Assistant CM) are so welcoming and professional. The menu is mouthwatering- always nutritious! My son loves going here each day and always enjoys it. We definately recommend this service!

My daughter at 2yrs old started going to Guardian Bruce, When we started in the centre i was afraid my daughter will not adjust as it was first time for her to being away from home n parents, but with time, patience n love educators have provided now she shares a beautiful bond with her teachers and have made friends aswell❤ With such loving and nurturing bunch of educators and the culture they have created as an early childhood centre i feel very comfortable leaving my baby in their hands and know she is receiving the best education and care possible. Can’t speak highly enough of this centre.

Whether you live in or outside Belconnen, 'Guardian Childcare & Education' in Bruce is the best daycare centre for your children. There are many reasons why 'Gaurdian' is head and shoulders above the rest, however the most important reason, is the staff. The staff are so exceptional that when the majority moved from a Gungahlin centre to the Bruce 'Gaurdian' child care centre, we moved suburbs in child care services to ensure our little one would continue to have the exceptional education & heartfelt care that we had come to expect & respect. What we didn't know about our move was that we would get that and so much more.

Gaurdian focus on doing the things that matter most to parents really well. The food is fresh and caters to different & fussy paletes. They are meticulous with regard to allergies and dietary requirements.The centre is flexible with hours & casual days which is important when things inevitably change at the last minute.

They manage illness very well & in a time where COVID has affected so much of our lives, Gaurdian have managed this crises with professionalism & excellent administration. The communication lines have been clear & consistent which meant understanding the quagmire of free child care was very easy for our family. They continue to monitor the virus exceedingly well; every morning, every child's temperature is checked. You know & can trust that your child is in a safe environment.

The diversity in staff is excellent, it's refreshing to know that my child is exposed to different world views and cultures. The staff regularly coordinate fun activities; pyjama days, indigenous learning, musical performers. They make children feel special on their birthday which is just lovely when you sadly have to work.

But what sets them apart is that they do the little things really well. Having extra clothes for those times you've forgotten to pack back up clothes. Giving your child special hugs when you're running late and have to rush off. You get a sense of old fashion care while still being at the cutting edge of modern technology with Gaurdian. You know exactly what's happening in your child's life through the use of the Storypark app which is easy to use & updated many times a day.

Siobhan Wong, Centre Manager, is always giving of her time & is knowledgeable about complex matters regarding Centrelink, such as Child Care subsidy and being up to date with immunisation records. What impresses me most is her wish to continually improve the centre. She welcomes feedback & actions suggestions. She is backed up by excellent managers.

Hayley Jacka, Assistant Centre Manager, is incredible with both children & parents. Her phone manner is always friendly and informative. She has assisted me many times in last minute changes to days & organising any account issues. She has a genuine care for children and a rare love of her job. I've lost count in how many times I hear from children 'Lay-ley is my favourite'.

Jodie-Lee & Kate are phenomenal at multi-tasking; there are so many kids that 'only want Jodie & Kate' at drop off & they manage to be all things to all kids at all times. They always have a smile on their faces which I personally find delightful and amazing. I really love that they take the time to give more than just the bare minimum information when you come to pick up your child at the days end.

Gaurdian has the most outstanding inside & outside facilities I've seen in my 10 years of daycare. Quiet time is used well with the transmission of learning tools onto the roof; kids can have a nap or engage while lying on their back meaning learning is not interrupted. Outside there's a myriad of options and multiple spaces for children of all ages; several sandpits, climbing apparatus, nature learning, bird houses (with birds!), turtles and even a chicken coupe! They manage the movement of children of differing ages through all of these spaces magnificently.

The carpark is easy to get in and out of quickly, even at peak times.

Check things out for yourself at this amazing centre, your child will be safe, well educated and well cared for, thinking of working there? go for it there seems clear direction and leadership.

One of the best centres around. The educators are passionate and welcoming. There are a lot of initiatives hosted by the Bruce Guardian. My son loves attending and its definitely worth the wait!

I've had two children attend Guardian ELC Bruce (one current 2019) and I couldn't be happier. Belle and her staff are truly fantastic. Great indoor facilities and a large outdoor play area.

Educators are loving and caring. Management is great - very approachable, always look for new ideas. Centre promotes healthy eating and sustainability. Management organises many events outside work hours e.g. xmas party for families every year, Easter egg hunt, mother's and father's days special evenings, Aboriginal story evenings around the fire, lots of fundraising activities just to name a few. I love the variety the Centre offers and that people who work there sincerely love what they are doing.
