Great little spot for an overnight camp. Only a 5 minute walk up the track to the toilets at Campground 1. Don’t be fooled by the name though, the creek is dry in summer

Great place to pan for gold with the family. Kids will be kept entertained adventuring around the scrub tracks and looking for unique rocks and gold in the creeks.

Google positioning for this site is incorrect. The position is actualy apart of Slaty Camp No. 1.
For No. 2 follow Slaty Creek road around to intersection with Wright road, turn right back onto Slaty Creek road, follow down hill past Wallaby walking track then turn right after crossing Slaty Creek. Follow around to left to find drive in site camp along the creek. No toilets at site, 5 min walk to camp site 1 for toilets.

Cory provides great instructions in getting to the campsite - keep driving past the first campsite! The campground is lovely and quaint and the bathrooms are just a few minutes away if you need to drive there (can walk it as well). There are also some hilly areas nearby where you can explore but be careful because you can slip very easily. Really disappointed that people who are using these campgrounds are not taking their rubbish away with them though! Please respect the environment and don't chuck your rubbish in mounds away from sight.

It was good terrain however I was promised a BBQ and they did not deliver and got sick

Nice views. Pretty chill. Nice place to sit and vibe. Scenic walks. Passable amenities. Access to great running and bicycling tracks. Close to Goldfields Track- Well labelled and upkept.

It was very comfortable, great place to setup, was a miserable night but it's the warmest I've ever been camping because of the trees around and we had a good batch of people camping around us
