Murray River Paddlesteamers Echuca

If you visit Echuca/Moama you must do a paddlesteam tour on the Murray River. It is a lovely hour up and down the river and very relaxing. Can book on line or purchase at the Port. Weekends can be busy so best to purchase on line or early.

Has a great trip in the PS Canberra, the person doing the commentary was great, she actually made the trip even more enjoyable, my grandson (2) went do to steer the boat but when he saw the size of the Wheel, he didn't want to do it anymore.
But yes, I would recommend this trip to anyone, we have done all the PS's in the area now and would do it again, next time the meal trip.
Everyone who travels and stays in Echuca should do the Paddle Steamer Trips.

Absolutely fantastic, crew were amazing, food was really great. The tour was one of the most pleasant and relaxing, will do a 7 day cruise next time. Highly recommend.

Just came back from a week on the PS Emmylou. We thoroughly enjoyed our cruise. Friendly and entertaining crew, wonderful food and lovely scenery. The excursions to interesting places really broadened our knowledge and appreciation of the region. It was an unforgettable holiday.

What a great trip down stream we had, wish it had gone further. Great commentary, loved the humour. Informative, fun and we highly recommend you jump on board.

My husband, parents and I went on the PS Canberra with a toddler and it was such a great experience. A nice and relaxed trip up the Murray. Our tour guide/Captain gave an entertaining and informative commentary. We learnt a lot!

Great way to see some of the Murray River. It was a nice relaxing way to spend our lunchtime cruising on the paddle steamer while hearing the history of the river and surrounding areas.
Also, really liked seeing the exposed steam engine on the boat.
Definitely recommend getting some tickets and having a beer or wine as you relax on the cruise.

Wonderful trip on the paddle boat. Nice commentary and very attentive crew on board. Looked after the 3 elderly who had mobility issues very well. Worthwhile taking the cruise.... money's worth.

Wonderful experience for the family. We eode PS Canberra and had a relaxing 1- hour cruise at Murray River.

Very professional, very Australian, presentation! The working steam engine on the lower deck was fascinating, as was the skill of our captain as she drove and gave commentary! The U-turn on the river was remarkable to watch her in action. The whole experience was historically authentic and very well done.

Husband and I went on the 1hr cruise, booked last minute via website very easy to book. The cruise was lovely, Bec was the host and Caleb was the engineer both very informative and answered any questions we had. Very friendly staff would definitely recommend doing this cruise on the Murray with this company.

Had an amazing time on the Canberra Paddle Steamer today. It was an hour cruise up the river. The skipper is quite informative telling us lots of interesting information. The boat is the oldest and is quite well maintained. Plenty of seating up and downstairs, bow and stern. Canteen and toilets on board. Friendly staff. Good for children. Has disabled access.
Please advise the office to stock more up to date and attractive souvenirs of the Canberra. The office seems to portray that it is all about the Emy Lou. Even the shortbread biscuits we bought with our tickets online were about the Emy Lou. Cheers. :)

The crew especially the captain were fantastic. The captain provided a history lesson pointing out landmarks and some witty repartee. She was great.

The cruise on this paddle steamer was relaxing and enjoyable. My wife and i thank you for a great time.

Not a very long trip, as we did the vineyard lunch cruise, but we were totally entertained by the great wise cracking female captain.
Plenty of laughs and tips for our delight.
