Great bakery with nice food and coffee, great views and has inside and outside eating areas available. Very popular spot in Penguin. Highly recommended.

Mars Bar cheesecake to die for. A selection of gluten free cakes & slices as well. I put on a kilo just looking in the display. Open later than most places for coffee. Eat in or takeaway. Hot pies& sausage rolls as well.

First time stopping here after hearing good things from friends thought we would stop on our travels. Didn't dissapoint, the pies were so tasty and they had small penguins on top cute little extra. Toasted sandwiches were great. Coffee was nice. Prices were good. Will make this a regular stopping point on our travels.

Found this little gem on route to the tulip farm. Very reasonable prices and a huge selection of food. It was busy as it was right on lunchtime, but we were served very promptly. Plenty of indoor seating. Definitely worth stopping!

Stopped here on our way through and was not disappointed! We had pies and sat inside, they were delicious. Lots of indoor seating. Took home some different slices to eat with dinner and they were all excellent! Was hard to choose what to try - we were naughty and had snickers, macadamia, brownie and choc fudge slice. Hope to return to Tasmania next year, don't drive by this town or this bakery.

Had the best pasties I have had in a long time. A good old meat and veg version. Other food options were also delicious. Nice spot across from the big Penguin and bay views

Friendly costumer service, great coffee and chill terrace with views to the sea to enjoy it. We had a custard tart to enjoy with the coffe what I also recommend. Great variety of cakes.

You know a great bakery/café/eatery by the amount of people there all the time. Great coffee (iced coffee for me) and fantastic sweets and cakes….everything.

Fantastic customer service from the moment you walk in. The display case is full of all your old favourites made just like grandma use to do. They have THE Best coffee in town and my husband and I are the true definition of coffee snobs! Service was quick and always with a smile.

A beautiful old fashioned bakery that sells all your favourite slices and other baked goodies including black forest cheesecake.

Great range of cakes and pastries, with plenty of seating in a spotless bakery, and friendly busy staff to top it off. Just wish there was a bakery like this near me.

Today my toddler tipped over my full mug of coffee and it flooded EVERYWHERE! All over the table, me, the floor and inside my boots. 😫 The staff were so kind and understanding. They helped us to clean up and then made me another coffee 🙏 Thanks so much! I wish I had caught their names in all the chaos. It made a stressful and embarrassing situation into a positive experience. Also, the food was very yum.

Travelling around Tasmania and we stopped at a beautiful little town PENGUIN. Had breakfast at the Penguin Bakery. Absolutely amazing. So much to choose from. Everything looked amazing and freshly baked. The place was very clean and tidy. Very friendly staff. I had a meat and vegetable pastie. It would be the best pastie I have ever eaten (apart from my Grandma's).

Great friendly bakery, the fresh cream lamington was absolutely delicious, my partner had the jelly slice and said best he has had. Coffee was excellent, definitely coming back to have lunch.

Always busy anytime of the year. Services provided with the likes of mixed meat pies and chicken 🐔 pies plenty of sweet treats for every taste also cool drinks and hot drinks are also available. All pies and breads and sweet treats all made in house. Indoor and outdoor seating available with fantastic views of Bass Strait from across beach ⛱. Overall a great place for a feed. Enjoy.
