Been going here for over 30 years. Best fries, and delicious chicken that’s cooked over coals. A real popular shop with locals.

First ever visit to Texas Charcoal Chicken so I didn't really have any expectations. The menu is extensive and the prices are quite reasonable.

Texas Tower is a beast of a burger. Greasy, Cheesy, nice kick of spice from the sauce and jalapenos without being over powering. Topped with the crispy bacon jam that still had that awesome crunch from perfectly cooked bacon. Normally a triple thick patty burger can be too rich but surprisingly with the combination of the spicy sauce and bacon jam, everything was very well balanced. I really hope this burger stays on as a regular on the menu.

Meat Lovers was a burger I couldn't miss out on. Brisket on a burger and onion rings? Count me in. The biggest worry I had was how good or bad will the brisket be? To my surprise they nailed it. Absolutely melt in your mouth brisket. Full of flavour and smokiness. With their in-house beef patties and crispy AF bacon it was awesome.

Team provided a great service and were extremely receptive to feedback. Was a pleasure coming in today.

Overall a phenomenal experience. The burgers and food are great and I can't wait to come back 🤤

If I had this in my local area I’d be back quite often. I tried the brisket - delicious and super juicy. The short rib is nothing short of magic - also delicious and super tender. The chicken burger is generously portioned, love the meat to bread and sauce ratio, a very balanced burger. If you like your beef burger meaty I recommend ordering the beef burger as a double or even triple (the single beef burger patty wasn’t enough for me but it cannot fault the flavour). Love love love the chips, perfectly cooked and crispy, I can tell the oil was very clean and fresh at the time, and I like the beef gravy on top. Local gem!

I don’t usually leave the reviews but im writing here as soon as i ate burger and chicken cuz it was SO GOOD!!
I had Double trouble burger and quarter charcoal chicken and it made me really full. Maybe one burger would be even enough but couldn’t resist the chicken. First bite of chicken skin was 👍🏻 i wont forget the taste! Burger was a bit salty but loved the flavor of charcoal, patty and bacon was wonderful. But id not recommend eating outside cuz burger is big and juicy you will have to suck your fingers as well !!
Don’t waste your money on McDonalds haha id definitely visit here again! You guys doing great! The girl at the front was also nice

Juicy! Huge! Tasty!
The brisket burger was moist and flavourful. I’d recommend removing the pickles as they overpower the charcoal flavour of the brisket.
The krunchy chicken burger was really tender but the coleslaw made the fillet less crunchy than anticipated. Both were still delicious.
Possibly the best chips in Sydney!
Easy to see why there was a long line of customers on Sunday.

Chicken roll with garlic and tabouli was GREAT! Chips lovely as always... 10/10! Only thing that sucked was the woman complaining about the music... Surely there is more to life than this... Personally, I was way more offended that this middle aged white woman was happy to drop the N-word in explaining her outrage... Ridiculous! Not cool at all, Karen...

Pastrami Sandwhich: the Reuben Sandwhich’s sexier smokier cousin, brilliant
Tower burger: phenomenal flavour and texture pairings

9/10 would go out of my way for these guys again

This place is famous for their best chicken and chips in five dock but recently they started burgers on natural charcoal and it taste absolutely delicious!

This place really has had an upgrade since we were there over 5 years ago - wow!! The place looks amazing, the staff are friendly and the brisket burger to die for!!😋 It now has lots of interesting burger options, and an extensive selection of chicken dishes.

This is the place I love to standby and get sth after work. I believe their charcoal chicken and chips are their signatures. Without hesitation the best one in Sydney. I also highly recommend to try their burgers. The other good aspect In my opinion is that the owner, Milad, always works in the shop rather than just let their people to run the place for him. I think this is one the reason the quality of food is so high. Thanks alot guys for all your great services in these years ❤

Amazing food! Great service, decided to stop in and eat outside. They have 2 tables availble outside and a sit bar inside! The falvours where devine i havent had such a great tasting burger in a long time! And the kids devoured the chicken and chips, well done keep it up!

Texas Charcoal Chicken always have high quality products; whether it be their chickens, roast pork rolls with crackling & gravy, or the BEST hot chips in Sydney. If you’re in Five Dock for a feed, you can’t go wrong here.

Been to this place a few times now. Originally just stopped by on a walk through Five Dock to grab a charcoal chicken roll and it was amazing.

Came back again to try out one of the beef burgers and has got to be one of the largest and best value burgers I have gotten in a while.

The staff are friendly and while it seems to be busy most of the time the wait is never really that long.

I always order chips rolls. I will say 80% of the time is great, depending on who is making it.
Like sometimes not enough chips or overcook chips but doing the right thing and giving 5 stars.

Pastrami sandwich did not disappoint. BBQ chicken is also brilliant.
