Cute little cafe with million dollar water views! Italian style dark roast coffee and a small menu of cafe goodies. We went after checking out Penguin Markets it was nice for a little stop.

This is a fantastic quaint little cafe hidden in Burnie Main Street and has become the main brunch spot for my partner and I.

Starting with the insider dining there is a glass seated area at the back which is always comfortable. On a warm sunny day you also have the option of outside at the back where you can watch over the ocean. The back is also dog friendly.

The coffee is fantastic and if you are a tea lover, I would highly recommend the lemongrass tea.

The menu is a modest spread of options and food is always beautiful.

The real winner is the wallet. The pricing is extremely modest.

If you are wanting a day time trip and just can’t quite decide what to do, this should be your port of call.

Lovely quaint Cafe situated on the beach! It has both indoor and outdoor seats ( overlooking the beach). Saw a lot of locals- must be popular. The staff were 2 ladies, who were patient and lovely. The coffee was good, sandwich fresh and tasty. I loved the brie n cranberry combination. Will visit again in summer!

We had great coffee in the morning so came back for lunch and were not disappointed. Everything on the menu looked great. It was really hard to choose what to try.

I had a cheese croissant and it was absolutely delicious. Such a good quality croissant. The ladies behind the counter were also really lovely and very relaxed. They created a really welcoming and friendly experience.

Wow, must stop at this place for a coffee, cake, brekky or lunch. Banana bread, smashed avo, cronut, bagel coffee hot chocolate all was excellent and ticked off a great stay at penguin. Will definately be back in this friendly town.

Can I just give a huge shout out to my new favourite cafe. Having relocated to Burnie from the mainland I have been hunting for the best coffee in town and this is worth the drive! Gorgeous staff and an incredibly welcoming atmosphere. Make sure you take a look at the view out the back too!

Great location overlooking penguin beach ⛱. Garden on a summer day and indoors glass wall to walkway .very relaxed and awesome drinks and sweet delights x

It was lovely sitting outside with our milkshakes & iced coffee. The kids loved the milkshakes! Staff were super friendly too :)

Absolutely beautiful location and incredible service. There were no vegan options on the menu but the staff were so accomodating and altered the dishes so we could eat them. Couldn’t have been a better experience

Absolutely beautiful cafe with such polite staff! Bagel and coffee was fabulous!! Highly recommend. The owner is so sweet and makes sure you leave feeling happy and satisfied. Very much appreciated and will be back!

Great staff and food. Yummy mashed avocado on Sour dough and hot chocolate for me. Coffee and same meal for my wife. 5 stars from her too.

Best customer service, friendly, kind, welcoming. This warm welcome is what made us fall in love with Penguin. Such a great cafe with lovely views. You must stop in and great a bite to eat.
