Tarowood Cottage

A really beautiful cottage. The host has supplied absolutely everything you could want......from eggs to board games to shampoo and conditioner!!! Views from the cottage are amazing. Kangaroos and birds visit the yard. I'd stay there again. Beautiful!!!

You will not be disappointed. A truly stunning two bedroom home, high in Tarome Qld at the foot of the Scenic Rim. The property is outstanding, wildlife everywhere and alot for people to do. Views from every bedroom, lounge room and outdoor fire pit, what more do you need. We will be back.

Our group of 3 friends thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tarowood Cottage. Christine was the perfect host; answering queries quickly and showing us around upon check us in. The cottage itself is well equipped - with a great kitchen that includes basically everything you could ever want (from a whisk to a colander & everything in between!), fabulous views and some friendly locals visiting us outside such as kangaroos, wallabies and chickens. The fireplace was lovely and worked wonders in heating the house, though there is reverse-cycle A/C too. The cottage was easy to find, it was quiet and not too far from the shops and supplies at Aratula. Out here, we felt a million miles away from home (mobile phones do work!), yet it was only 90 minutes drive from Brisbane. We would highly recommend Tarowood Cottage as a lovely getaway for a small group of friends, or for couples. We will definitely be coming back if you'll have us again. 10 out of 10!
