Excellent mechanic and I highly recommend them. Took my car into them for an initial diagnostic and the Mechanic knew straight away what the problem was and gave me honest advice as to how to proceed. I am usually wary/scared of mechanics as they can sometimes be dishonest and money grabbing but I did not feel this way at all about these guys. I would like to make a special commendation to Paul; if you get him as your Mechanic, you're in good hands. He was great!

It is hard to find a good, reliable and honest car mechanic that will charge a fair price for their services. Luckily, we came across Alan and his team.

After the initial chat with Alan we opted for the Major Service & Tune option. Few issues have come to light during inspection such as low coolant concentration. The break pads and rotors were also worn but
Alan was upfront and stated that they would last another 5000KM.

As we were so impressed with the great service, we also decided to get a set of 4 tyres done at the same time as they were due anyway. Alan clearly explained the different options and prices.

After the service our car drives much better than before and few extras were also included such as the handbrake adjustment which improved its grip.

All in all, a very positive experience, upfront about all the extra costs, no hidden charges, professional service and clear communication.

Alan and his team have gone the extra mile and I have no hesitation in recommending Welshpool Auto Repairs.

First time using Repco Service in Welshpool for 120 series Prado. Had an A/C leak repaired and re-gassed, plus wheel balance and brake fluid flush all done in quick time and very reasonable price. I've been going here for years. They provide great service and are reliable. They talk me through the job and call me before doing anything extra. They warn me of up and coming maintenance, like needing new breaks, and try to keep costs down. There is also a loan car which is cheap and has come in handy.

Excellent service - were honest and forthcoming about real issues with my engine repair. Loaner car was also a great stress relief for the week the car was off the road. Engine now runs perfect and very happy with the total experience.

We've had 5 cars put through Allans workshop. I highly recommend his team when it comes down to finding the problem and fixing it. Great customer assistance. Will continue to take our cars there.

Extremely good service! I took my dedicated lpg Falcon to this workshop to fix a stalling problem that many other mechanics could not diagnose. After about 2 hours, Alan got back to my partner and told him the problem would be fixed for far less than we anticipated. 100% honest and knowledgable service. He explained to us exactly what the problem was and how he fixed it. I cannot recommend Welshpool Auto Centre enough! Saved us lots of money and headaches, thanks Alan!

Have been going here for over 10 years, and can say with confidence that there is no better mechanical workshop in this state. Alan and his team do everything right, let me know about any future issues, and charge a very fair price. Most of my mates go there now too. Can't beat it.

Had an issue with clanking noise in my engine 2 other mechanics said its inside engine damn expensive to fix just leave it...went to Welshpool Auto Repairs did a brief examination came back with a very reasonable price car is like new again...damn good mechanic Alan and professional service and doesn't short cut...if i had of listened to those other mechanics my engine be stuffed...can't thank Alan enough...

Have put two cars in here for a fair bit of work, about to bring a third car in for upgrades 😜.
Have also recommend and sent one friedn in for a complete engine swap and they are happy as with Alans work.
