Great service and very helpful.. As a novice, Brian was very understanding and full of good and advice for me. It's great that you can talk and get help from the owner of shop that clearly know his products. I'll be bringing back the free pack of yeast you generously gave me; you were right, the brew had completed fermentation. I took your advice and double checked; the evidence was in all the yeast at the bottom of the container. Thanks, I'll be back for sure. I would recommend this shop to all home brewers.

I've never brewed before so heading to the Malthouse. The guy was brilliant, set me up with a beer kit and gave me a few good tips. It's not the closest shop to me be definitely worth a drive.
Some shops are quite patronizing when you're an amateur but this guy was totally the opposite.

I go here to refill my co2 tank for sodastream. I got an adapter on the net so I can use the same co2 tank that homebrew users use to charge up their beer. From the looks of it this store has all you may need for your homebrew or distilling needs.

I was happy with the service here and I found the proprietor to be honest and helpful in what was the most cost effective solution.

The shop may look a bit dated but don't get put off by this.
