Enjoyed a rainy catchup with a friend - totally amazing view overlooking the ocean and Big Penguin!

Hot chips were thin and wonderfully seasoned!

Place is a lot larger than it looks from outside too!

We had a great experience here; incredibly friendly and accommodating staff, even when it’s busy. Highly recommend the big penguin and sushi bowl!!!!

Would have taken a pic before I started drinking if I knew how amazing the coffee would be!!! If you want a soy flat white, don't be cautious or concerned about getting a dodgy one, honestly one of the best made coffees I've had out (that's coming from an ex barista!). Took me by most pleasant surprise, from beginning to bottom of cup 😋☕😍👌🏼

We had breakfast here twice on the weekend! The food was delicious and very well priced. The smashed avo was so tasty, and the Big Penguin breaky was really good value & so yummy.
The food took a while to come out on our first visit but that didn't stop us coming back again on Sunday.
The kids area at the back of the cafe is really good too, the kids loved playing in there.

I stopped here on my most recent trip to Tasmania and after struggling to choose between so many delicious options at such good prices, I had the falafel wrap with a flat white. Not only was the food delicious, but I was overwhelmed by the hospitality and kindness of the staff. I left my bag in the cafe and the owner generously took care of it and posted it to my sister’s place in Hobart. I would recommend them to anyone!

I had the best macchiato coffee here. The daily specials were pumpkin or cauliflower+cheese soup, or lamb souvlaki.We shared a bowl of excellent sweet potato chips on a chilly day. The young lady was friendly and welcoming.

10/10 for being open today on Easter Friday

Best breakfast in Penguin and the price is right. We had the big penguin and it was perfectly cooked and the pancake with bacon ,maple syrup, banana and add a fried egg it was perfect too. Well done

This is a casual and relaxed place with good food at reasonable prices. The service is friendly and down to earth. Have visited on several occasions and enjoyed the big penguin breakfast and the avo smash. Ask for your coffee extra hot if you like it that way. It's a bit retro shabby chic, with a big window at the front so you can see to the water (over the Esplanade Street). We've been able to get a table without a booking.

Delicious coffee and walnut chocolate brownie to die for!

We popped into here on a rainy day looking to get a coffee and kill some time before heading to Launceston.

Ended up having some Fantastic coffee well made by the barista and even better brownie! I can't stress enough how good this brownie was, soft, chocolatey and rich! A must try!

Wonderful staff and lovely atmosphere. We only ordered drinks, however, we would return again to order food.

I had the truckers breakfast which was so big I fell into a food coma and wandered out in a daze without paying. I recommend the huge breakfast but pay before you leave or they will pursue you up the street. ;-)
