Mudgee Bakery & Cafe

Had a lovely brunch with amazing pies that were very tasty. We had the chunky beef, curry beef along with the apple slice. These were accompanied by coffees and hot chocolate drinks which also hit the mark. We chose to eat in as there was plenty of space and amenity to enjoy.

Fantastic bakery with a great range of coffees and drinks, hot and cold, savoury and sweet pies and pastries. The Mexican pie and the potato, pea and beef pie were absolute winners; full of flavour with the flakiest pastry. The apple turnovers and berry turnovers were so flakey and not too sweet, with generous amounts of cream and fruit. The doughnuts were fluffy, and glazed with the perfect amount of sweetness.

The servers were the loveliest people with the best kind of humour (especially considering they open at 4:30 in the morning).

You’d be missing out giving this place a pass.

I am often on the search for a bakery that serves a great salad roll when I travel rural NSW. Mudgee Bakery and Cafe really fulfilled the brief. Our salad rolls were so well filled, fresh and delicious. We were so impressed by this bakery - from the fresh squeezed juice, to the great initiative of bringing your own bread bag. We also loved the sweet treats made specifically for breast cancer awareness. The service was VERY friendly. They also had great ordering and food pickup systems. This bakery is so good and from our experience is doing everything right. We wouldn’t change a thing. Wish we had a similar bakery near our home in Sydney!

Great food and great atmosphere. We had a pie and a supreme roll thing.

Excellent food and quick service. Cinnamon scrolls were fantastic as was the coffee and hot chocolate. Pre ordered for next day and rang as unable to fulfil but changed to another product and was ready to pick up. Excellent customer service

Huge range of cakes, pies etc. We had pies for breakfast one day and they were so nice we came back the next day for the same.
It seems to be a very well run place. Nice coffee, too.
I will add that the pies were served at just the right temperature , sometimes they are too hot at other places.

Great service from lots of staff on hand. Selection of locally baked savoury pies, sausage rolls and pastries is excellent. Also family size pies to buy frozen and takeaway. Then there is the enormous range of sweet treats not to forget about the bread varieties. Definitely worth a visit.

I much enjoyed the Roast Veggie Sausage Roll, a unique and delicious snack savoured whilst wandering the Mudgee sights.

Wonderful place, fantastic service and open at 4:30am!!! Brilliant. We grabbed a steak and mushroom family pie from the freezer and looking forward to that tonight. Apple pies to die for!!

All the staff are always happy and friendly. Food is great, coffees are fast and the online ordering tool is super convenient for thoes that want a quick order

I ordered the catering for the lunch portion Of the dual Birthday 🍰 from Sydney and these guys were awesome. Food was fresh, flavoursome and great quality. Everyone commented how good it was. The staff were also fabulous. Thank you so much.

Great bakery with plenty to choose from. I got a steak and red wine pie which was excellent. Kids got sausage rolls and doughnuts and everyone was very happy.

Service was streamline, prices were good, plenty of seating and clean bathrooms.

Seen this place on the internet and since I was going through town called in to see.they have good selection of pies and pastries and they taste really good

Wide range of pies, pastries, cakes, sandwiches and rolls made up or made to order. Great coffees and cold drinks available.

Excellent service, friendly staff, great food with a great variety of baked goods. With coffee bar on site as well. Very fresh and they do their own deliciously fresh Orange juice, had one every morning I was in Mudgee. Go there!
