La Zanyas Restaurant & Bar

The pizza with the lot was magnifico. I could not fault it. The toppings, the thin dough, the crust. It was so nice that I'll use the expression that I was sitting in my own puddle of seamen (spelt incorrectly for Google reasons).

If I could give this rating a six, I would and that is rare. Usually pizzas I have don't have that wow factor, but this was just Ohhhh, there goes another one!

This has to be one of the best restaurants around. We have been here a few times. The food is always amazing, they accommodate your needs and all the staff are so friendly. Dani & Eddie are so lovely. Big shout out to Joe & Ruby - thanks for the excellent customer service! We'll be back!

I’ve been here multiple times now and have never had a bad experience. Everything from their customer service, their acknowledgements of allergies and their food is absolutely amazing and not to fault. Best family restaurant in the area and all the staff are so lovely! Would highly recommend for any occasion.

Apart from having THE most amazing pizzas, their customer service is so much more. Confined at home courtesy of COVID, the gentleman Paul who delivered our pizzas offered if there was anything we needed at all (supermarket/chemist/etc) to contact them and the team from La Zanyas would pick it up and bring it to us, just to help us out. I was deeply touched by the care and thoughtfulness shown to us.
Just a side note, my review of their pizzas was not influenced by the compassion shown to us, the pizzas had to be the BEST we have ever eaten, My hubby and I have just moved into the area and can now say with confidence we have found our pizza provider 🤩

The staff are so incredibly friendly and caring, the service and environment are second to none, and the food is just cooked to perfection and very generous in size and quality.
I wasn’t going to get a chicken Parma as I wanted to be different for a change. I’m so glad I did as it was one of the best I have ever had.

We were constantly asked if all was ok through our dining experience and if we needed anything else without asking. it was just the best family relaxed comfortable experience.
I so highly recommend La ZANYAS to everyone wanting the ultimate, quality dining experience.

I have always lived in and around eltham. But I had never been to this restaurant until 12months ago. Now we regularly visit. Meals are as awesome as the staff.
My go to is the garlic cheese pizza and the la zanyas special pizza. I’m saying that, Every one on our table is always happy with there meals

We had a wonderful family experience at LaZanyas. The staff are amazing, the food is incredible and they catered to both gluten and dairy allergies and had an extensive selection of meals. We loved everything from the environment to the service will definitely be back!!

An absolutely iconic local Eltham, family owned restaurant. The service, food and atmosphere is second to none and they go above and beyond in every way. A restaurant myself and my family have many many fond memories at and from.

My favourite local restaurant in Eltham! I normally pick up a pizza or pasta once a week. And the food has always been fresh and tasty! All the people working there are so friendly too. Highly recommend!

I have never been to a restaurant where we were spoken to and treated with such high respect. Our needs because of our birthday party where met with thoughtfulness and excellence. The food was served hot and tastefully made. From the first conversations on the phone to the last at the register, La Zanya excelled in giving us a great evening to remember. We will be back! Well done management on your height level of honor, dignity and excellence!

Wonderful food and the most lovely staff. The food was delivered hot and servings were generous.Highly recommend the pizza and Cabonara was made with a delicious sauce that was not too heavy. All meals were delicious. Will be ordering again. Thank you.

Outstanding!

Veal scallopine funghi perfect. Perfectly tender veal in plenty of excellent mushroom sauce. Delicious broccoli. Pumpkin okay, but that's because I don't like pumpkin and I don't like it being in everything nowadays..

Wife had calamari. Lightly floured and perfectly cooked. Crispy, crispy chips, as good as you'll ever get. Fresh salad.

Costs a bit more than a good gastro pub, but much better food. Well worth the extra cost.

We used to eat at La Zanya's a lot many years ago, but it went off badly and we haven't been there for at least ten years when I had the worst veal schnitzel ever made, with similarly awful accompaniments.

I tried it last weekend with the calamari, chips and salad and they were as described above for my wife's dish tonight, so we went there for our wedding anniversary dinner tonight and were perfectly happy with the food and service.
