Discovery Parks - Mount Buffalo

Absolutely amazing stay. Great spot along the river with great section of grass for families along the river too. New amenities are beautiful and so up to date . Dee ( manager) was so helpful and supportive . The whole campground felt like a great supportive community . Definitely will be returning .

We had a great stay, the cabins and facilities were beautiful and clean and the service by park management was fantastic, they also went above and beyond to help me with a booking issue (which was my fault not theirs).

We were pleasantly surprised to find the park backed on to a gorgeous large creek with calm water that was perfect for the kids and pup to play for hours. With only a short drive to Bright and myrtleford and short walk to the town centre. We will definitely be back!

We camped here over the Australia Day long weekend. It was our first time in the area and found it was in the perfect location for Mount Buffalo, Bright and Beechworth. Upon arrival we had people in our spot who weren’t supposed to be, but the staff were more than helpful and gave us a choice of campsites. We ended up in a perfect site on the water, with plenty of space. We will stay here again!

My wife and I recently stayed at the Mount Buffalo caravan park for 1 night only, and we were delighted with our experience. This place truly is the best kept secret in town!
The park was exceptional. From the well-maintained grounds and the spotless facilities. The Ovens River running alongside the park is a beautiful feature.
We stayed in the Superior 2 Bedroom Cabin, and it exceeded our expectations. The cabin was spacious providing us with ample room to relax and unwind. Sitting on the veranda while the sun slowly set enjoying the complimentary biscuits and hot chocolate was magic.
One of the standout aspects of our visit was the service we received from the staff in the office, particularly from Melissa and Dee. Thank you, girls.
They were incredibly friendly, helpful, and went out of their way to ensure that we had a comfortable stay. Their warm hospitality made us feel right at home.
We have already booked our next stay for 4 nights. Looking forward to our next visit.

We've owned an annual can there for 6 years.its an amazing place, recently purchased by Discovery Parks. They have been kind enough to write to us stating they have no desire whatsoever to remove my annuals which was a kind thing to do, let's hope they keep their word on that!
The location and river frontage are second to none come visit!

Dee and the staff are so warm and welcoming. Amazing servuce from them all. The grounds are up to perfect standards. Cabins always cleaned to perfection. An amazing place to stay and really enjoy your time away.
This place is our family holiday park and we just love being there.

We came up for the long weekend and loved every minute! The whole weekend was perfect. Loved the amenities, location, and all the staff were super friendly. Being pet friendly was another added bonus. Will definitely be back!

This park is a great stay over. It has very clean amenities and a great camp kitchen. The unpowered sites are grassed and spacious. The ladies who greeted me in the office were very happy, provided excellent service and really gave that welcoming touch you would expect from a country tourist destination. I will be popping in again to visit and saying G'day to Dee for sure!!

Best getaway if you are going to Bright and surrounding areas.

Such a beautiful park, took us as a last minute booking (literally just as they were closing) put us on such a beautiful spot on the river after a bad experience at another park. Absolutely made our trip and wouldn’t go anywhere else! Thank you for everything

Wow what a beautiful spot! Glamping right by the river was perfect. We stayed there for a couple nights in November and the weather was warm and sunny during the day. It’s warm in the tent, cool enough at night to sleep very comfortably. Birds were singing in the morning, the sound of the river was so relaxing. Bathroom for the glamp sites was clean, check in was easy and quick. Love it, we’d love to come back!

Beautiful place. Great hikes. Easy trails with incredible views. The chalet is a very nicely preserved piece of architecture. Lovely place. Highly recommend

Beautiful clean, well cared for grounds and facilities. Large open space to stroll, play, relax along the river and you also have some stunning views of Mt Buffalo. Close to everything! Pet friendly which was a added bonus to bring the dog. Thanks so much Porepunkah Bridge Holiday Park! I really enjoyed my stay, I will be back again!

Been visiting the area & have stayed at this campground in some of the cabins numerous times over the last couple of years. Always been an easy and stress-free experience and environment. Beautiful location and very conveniently located by the main road.

The only negative I'll mention is the wifi signal inside our cabin and even outside in the general holiday park area was pretty much non-existent which meant we had to switch to our 4G internet connection which, again, only worked very slowly inside, and had to constantly go outside the cabin's front door at 5 degree weather every time I wanted to browse the net... Or hold it up to the window to hopefully get 2 bars on my phone so I could load up the google page etc but besides the bad connection I don't see us having issues with these guys :) Lovely campground too, if you enjoy camping by a river!

Thanks to the staff here who notified us of a cancellation of a powered site so we could camp for 3 nights over the Labor Day weekend. The service was excellent, even when we broke a chain on a rented bike they drove out and swapped bikes for us!!! No questions, just an attitude of helping. It is great to see the smiles of staff and campers and see the region getting back and running so smoothly and professionally. Best of all was the seeing all the activities we love in easy reach- rail trails, mountain bike runs, restaurants and even watch the sky divers come in and land on the other side of Bright. The scenery of this region is stunning . Thanks:)

Great caravan park with well equipped comfortable cabins. Relaxing & tranquil atmosphere set along the river. Very clean & well run park. Reception staff were welcoming, friendly & very helpful. Would definitely return.

A very well positioned park with amazing views and ovens river access. Staff is friendly but make sure to ask for preference otherwise a non shady site in summer can be challenging. Amenities are clean overall. Will visit again.

Very welcoming staff members. Have stayed in another park in the area that treated us like only our money mattered. Here, the staff are helpful and engaging. This park will be a long term option for us.

Possibly the best caravan park ever. Staff were friendly and incredibly helpful. Having pet friendly accommodation was supper. We stayed in a fully equipped cabin. Full size fridge with good size freezer was very handy for all the fish we caught at the Trout and Salmon farm 10min's past Bright.
Also a full size oven. Very comfortable couch, nice dinning table, we both found the bed and pillows very comfortable. FANTASTIC inclusion was that they even have electric blanket on the bed. Water pressure in the shower was great and my girlfriend was very happy about the hair dryer mounted in the bathroom.

We ended up at this caravan ground at the last minute and couldn't have been more happier. The facilities are great, even has a fridge in the camp kitchen. They had a pizza night with a band and an awesome park space for kids, not to mention the river that you can float down and sit in on hot days, remember your lilos. Will never hesitate to not stay here again. Thanks for a great stay.
