Porepunkah Pub

We loved this place so much we came here twice on our trip! We got a variety of meals including gnocchi, pork belly, Parma, burger and more including desserts. All were delicious! Kid friendly. The reno is really nice too.

We went for dinner last night. As usual, the service and food were great. Since it has been done up it has been changed from an old dingy pub to a vibrant welcoming location. It has a great atmosphere and beer garden front and an industrial cool feel inside.

Very accommodating providing a Gluten Free meal suitable for a Coeliac. Meal sizes were decent and Delicious .

Can I give a huge round of applause to the lady running front of house today, on a busy long weekend- amazing customer service with a smile. Great spot, lovely choice of beer on tap, sitting outside with band playing across from the river.
We had kids with us and just missed the kitchen being open after being directed to order from the servery. This lady realised what had happened and found a bowl of chips for our hungry little fella and even gave them on the house for the miscommunication.

Definitely will be back! Thanks for making a great afternoon.

Had a lovely, sunny, Sunday afternoon at the Punka pub, super-friendly service, great meal /drinks and a lovely touch to the bathrooms. AND pet friendly! Definitely worth a visit!

Perfect location on a sunny day for an ice cold beer. Great service always, park and river views, all good. Though suspect the back room pool table is jinxed 🙃🤣

Had a lunch booking for fourteen people, food was exceptional, service was quick, staff were super friendly. Highly recommend.

Had one of the best parmi’s last night. I’m a very fussy with parmi’s, it’s a simple meal but so many pubs get it so wrong. Would recommend 110%. Really friendly staff, great meals and portion sizes. Only down fall is the bistro is a bit squishy.

We LOVED this gem of place nestled quietly beside the river. The food and service were fantastic. We first came in on a very busy night but the wait for the food was worth it while we enjoyed drinks from the bar. Our second visit on our short stay in the area we arrived early (before the rush) and got to know the staff and their suggestions of what to see in the area as well as the very interesting history of the pub and its gorgeous rebuild. Look forward to visiting this place again next time we are in the area.

I would start with saying it was lovely and amazing! Great food and vibe is you’re looking something in Bright. I came from Melbourne for 2 nights and went here on last night,regretted to not come before. Everything is soo amazing. The prawn and garlic dumplings, parma, veggie burger and the garlic bread. Super kind and friendly staff! It is a must. The prices are also not very high! Great food good vibe!
