Mount Buffalo Caravan Park

You will be hard pressed to find a better caravan park in which to experience the grandeur of Autumn. So many trees and so many colours. We spent three glorious weeks here in the middle of Autumn. The amenities are extremely clean and very well maintained. Fires are encouraged and firewood and pits can be supplied for a fee. A noticeable difference to most parks is that numerous fire ash bins are provided so fire pits can be cleaned out regularly without having to try and find somewhere to dump your ashes. The owners Glen and Andrea are great and all the staff we met were very nice and had such great attitude, particularly John and Chloe. Overall, a very enjoyable stay.

I wanted to express my appreciation for the wonderful experience we had during our camping trip to Mount Buffalo Caravan Park. The accommodations provided for my friend and me, with my 9-month-old baby, were truly exceptional.

The room we stayed in was perfect for us, offering the comfort and convenience we needed while traveling with a little one. The view from both our room and the camping site where our friends stayed was breathtaking, providing the ideal backdrop for a relaxing getaway.

The amenities, including the spacious and tidy kitchen, added to the overall comfort level of our stay. It was a pleasure to have everything we needed at our fingertips, making our camping experience even more enjoyable.

Despite the overall positive experience, I wanted to mention that we encountered some rudeness from the lady at the reception. However, this did not overshadow the fantastic time we had at Mount Buffalo Caravan Park.

Thank you for providing such a beautiful and well-maintained setting for us to relax and unwind. We truly enjoyed our time at your park and look forward to visiting again in the future.

Super cute location with amazing staff. Jon the pom is a champion and helped me out when my car wouldn't start. Then I left something behind and he came and found me. Absolute champion and lovely cute place to stay. Would recommend

Have visited and stayed in the Porepunkah area a few times over the past 18 months and this park exceeded our expectations. Everyone was so accommodating to the needs of our 7 humans and 4 dog family.
We stayed in the paddock, enjoyed the morning birds, and sat around our open fire in the evening.
Even over the busy Easter period, the amenities were clean and the camp kitchen was lovely to cook in and chat with other campers.

I had a powered Riverside site for my tent & myself.
Fantastic little camp kitchen, and the amenities were quite adequate.
Beautiful area and slept like a baby listening to the crickets and babbling river next to me.
I had trepidation at first, because I found some fellow campers with dogs off their leashes.
I am terrified of dogs, but found that they were okay and friendly, and the people were very nice.
But I do wish that people would adhere to camp rules.
Not all of us love Dogs.
Having said that as a frequent visitor to beautiful Mount Buffalo,
This is definitely a place I would stay again.
Had lovely peace and quiet for two nights.
The Place itself is in an absolute joy and right at the foot of Mount Buffalo.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay

We are here at the moment. Totally blown away by this caravan park. It's amazing. The owner is beautiful and armed us with lots of information about local sites (and how to float down the river on an inflatable)! The sites here are amazing simply due to being right on the river where kids can roam and play freely. We actually chose an unpowered site to be the closest to the river. Amenities amazing. Probably close to one of my favourite parks so far on my travels. 70% of the sites must be long term park homes, but that's fine as the park is quiet (not many of them occupied when we were there).

My husband, son and I traveled up here for a caravan owners rally last weekend. Unfortunately, we suffered car troubles and were left without a car for a few days. With the given situation Glen, Andrea and the team were more than accommodating. Glen moved our van for us, no hassle and Andrea extended our stay without any issues. The boys that work there were always up for a chat, and everyone always had a smile.

The ground and amenities were pristine and couldn't be faulted. the toilets/showers were always clean as was the camp kitchen. Nestled on the junction of the Bucklands and Ovens Rivers, the warmer days were spent with our 4yo wading in the shallows of the rivers while the cooler nights were enjoyed sitting by the fire bucket.

Mt Buffalo Caravan Park will be a definite place added to our weekend getaway list and we will gladly be returning here in future to see newly made friends.

Really beautiful campsite, luckily got two site with my friends family. Was in powered site 190, highly recommend.

Campfire allowed, clean bathroom and toilet, tent under beautiful maple trees. Have kitchen things, fridge and microwave.

10 mins away from Bright town, recommend to try beer in Bright Brewery. 1 hours to lake catani and the horn, perfect for day trip and sunset!

My partner and I had a powered site right next to the river. Beautiful spot. Very nice amenities and great camp kitchen. We will be back. Hopefully next year. Totally recommend this park.

We just came back from an amazing stay here, the park is absolutely beautiful. Amenities are clean and tidy. The owners went above and beyond to accomodate us. Super helpful and friendly. Have already told our friends about this gem. We will be back!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Family friendly caravan park. Locals are lovely and helpful. A very relaxing and peaceful place, at the meeting of two rivers. Facilities were clean and in good working order. 7 minutes from Bright and 30 minutes drive to Mount Buffalo lookouts.

Great park in a fantastic location. Spent 5 nights and couldn’t have been happier with the service and amenities. Great being able to swim in the river right at the park. Easy drive to discover Bright, Myrtleford, Beechworth, National parks and Eldorado. Will definitely be back.

This place for our family is one of the best places on earth. Not only for the picturesque park itself but the staff and team members make this place to stay at an absolute pleasure.

Love the campsite- very clean, stunning and well- equipped. We stayed for 1 night at the powered campsite , definitely enjoy it and will be back !

Lovely big Park, it's got it all, it's where the two rivers meet, the Buckland River and the Ovens River. Great swimming hole in summer.great view off Mt buffalo in the back ground. WOW.

One of my favourite campsites to date. The owner is lovely and the location is perfect. Will be looking to head back again next year. Highly recommend.

We had a very nice stay at the caravan park and the hosts was finding place to us in one of the most busy weeks in the year.
We enjoyed the place, amminities, the river and the company of many nice people.
We would come more often if it was closer to Denmark.
