Devenish Railway Hotel

If you love a great pub meal, the Devenish Railway Hotel should be on your list. We had cutlets with chips and salad, cutlets were cooked beautifully, the chips hot and crunchy, and salad was fresh and crisp. Lots of flavours and the staff and friendly.

The owners were very friendly and we had a great chat. We had a great lunch of toasted sandwiches at the very nice and shiny bar, thou we could have had full table service. I had the steak sandwich with the lot and yes, the lot included beetroot. It was scrumptious. A lovely old-world spot.

A warm welcome, enhanced by the open fires, then topped by a beautiful home style Sunday roast. Finishing with a wonderful apple pie, and all for ONLY $30.00!
Well definitely return.
This place, way away from anywhere, deserves support.

Tried the ‘devenishire’ tea! Haha. But with a dirty chai order getting a quizzical stare from our host my expectations were low. But one of the best i have had. And I have tried that order in many countries and places! Well done guys. The a/c was welcome with the 37’ heat outside. Loved the silo art

Fantastic stop off on the silo art trail. Lovely and welcoming service- thoroughly enjoyed our fresh scones!

The hotel was closed, out side of trading hours, at the time of our visit . The solo art across the road is the highlight of the location, though i can see myself enjoy a ale or two and taking in the fantastic work of the artist

Great publican. Great food. Good country pub atmosphere.

Awesome meal. Went there to look at the silo art with 2 other friends and had the best lunch at the pub. The gentleman behind the bar who took our order, was pretty well running the bar and delivering the meals. Gave us a bit of a history of the pub. We'll be back for sure.

Fantastic customer service, food servings were on the larger size. Looked and tasted amazing, would highly recommend dropping in for a feed!
