We had a great stay over the labour day weekend, location was great. Our campsites were quite large, we could fit 4 king deluxe swags (one for our dogs who were allowed to stay in the park) a gazebo and lots of space to relax. facilities were neat and tidy, the pool was a massive hit for the whole family. The staff were lovely and very accommodating. We will be back :)

Stayed with family in caravan near pool. Staff was the most friendly and helpful we have encountered on our around Australia trip. Pool also heated so unlike many other parks you can actually swim in this pool (March) and kids enjoyed hours in pool. Next to River with nice swimming holes. 10 minutes walk to Porenpunkah pub along river. Very nice walk. Toilets and showers are very clean and with proper showers. See some other reviews called them dated. Just show you can't please everybody.

Have just returned from spending the Labour Day weekend and we honestly could not fault our stay at all!! Narelle & Mark were the most gracious of hosts and honestly went above and beyond to accommodate us! Extremely pretty park with lots of big shady trees, cabin was nice and clean and facilities were great! We loved it so much that we booked for next year and can’t wait to return.

New management. I called up a good 15 caravan parks around the area ranging from Beechworth/Milawa/Bright. Out of all these parks this one had the best and most friendly service over the phone. When we arrived we were greeted by new owner who was absolutely delightful and even walked us to our campsite to make sure it suits after our last minute booking. 10/10 location and service. Beautiful park and looking forward to coming back.

Lovely caravan park . Clean amenities even during peak period. Actually the whole park was kept very neat and tidy . The pool was sparkling clean . Owners Narelle and Mark went over and above to help us get through our difficulties in setting up after dark. Excellent service ,very helpful and friendly. Location was 5mins from the town of Bright . Would definitely stay again.

Feb 2024, we stayed for six nights on a shady powered caravan site, within a few metres of the Ovens river. We would recommend this park for a peaceful and relaxing stay. There are also some new very well located cabins and new apartment style family sized units as well. The hosts are Narelle and Mark, who are great to deal with.

We have a standing booking every Brighter Days weekend, but the previous management did not put our booking into the system so we arrived with nowhere to stay. Only having taken over the park in December, Narelle couldn’t have been more helpful. She telephoned every accommodation in and around Bright for us and did not give up until we had a bed. Could not have been more appreciative of her help in such a stressful moment for us both. Thank you so much.

A lovely, peaceful getaway place with beautiful locations, well maintained cabins, big powered camping sites, cleaned community kitchen, and common toilet and shower facilities. Hosts are wonderful. Laundry facilities are also available as well as a heated pool for kids. A walking Trail is also connected from park for a good nice walk anytime during the day.

Very nice caravan Park, stayed in a cabin for three nights for mums birthday.
Extremely friendly staff and the cabin looked as it was very well maintained and really clean. River was full but beautiful, very relaxing stay and I will get back up there again soon

I recently stayed in the vila that sleeps ten, and it was everything we expected plus more.
James and Sandy were very accomodating hosts, they knew there was a lot of us and even offered for us to use the camp site amenities as the vila only had one bathroom.

Upon leaving I forgot my sunglasses, James and Sandy personally delivered them to me in Tasmania!

Thanks very much James and Sandy, could not recommend your hospitality anymore!

We stayed at Porepunkah Pines Holiday Park over Easter and absolutely loved it! The park is completely flat so it is easy to put your camper/caravan on its site and the kids can ride their bike around easily. The amenities were fantastic, the showers heavenly and they even provide washing up liquid, clothes and tea towels for guests to use. The family are fantastic and so helpful when we needed to borrow a hose fitting to hook up our camper. We will definitely be back!

Wow, what a caravan park! Polite and friendly managers of the park. We are here in the first week of February and everything is sooo green and lush. Beautiful clean and clear river behind the park. Easy walking distance along the river to lovely cafes also The swimming pool is awesome, out the front looking towards the mountain. Great service, reasonable price and 5 kilometres from Bright. Amenities spotless and level sites for vans. Highly recommend.

This was our first time we stayed here. It's very clean and we loved all the trees and the river was beautiful. Lovely pool area too. Close to everything and everyone was very friendly and helpful in the office. We will be back and tell our friends about this great park. 👍

We’ve been coming here for 14 years and we’ve continued to come because the park has improved dramatically. The park is green and lush with beautiful trees. The park managers Sandy and James are extremely helpful, easy to deal with and keep the park in an excellent condition. The cleaners continue to do an amazing job and it has the best pool around. We will continue to come for many more years.

Lovely little caravan park, nice friendly people, for my family next time I would go with a deluxe cabin just so we would have a proper oven/cook top, because we had a smaller cabin, which meant we had only a cook top... but everything else was great!

From the first phone call to our leaving the management have been very helpful and friendly. We initially thought we’d stay in Bright but the peaceful surrounds of Porepunkah Pines was much more attractive to us. Would highly recommend staying here if you like peace and quiet. 🙂

Stayed at the park with a group of friends over three nights (probably 30 people with kids), and it was an actions packed adventure. The park is quiet, you can hear the river running, the grounds are really well kept, the trees are magnificent and the pool would have to be the best pool in the area. Couldn't get the kids off the slide and there was also a toddlers pool. We were all surprised at how clean the amenities were. Yes they were a bit older, but really well kept. The Punka Pub was sampled and can recommend and only a 3min drive into Bright. The fellas did some 4wding around Mt Buffalo with the kids to earn some brownie points with the Mums! Was a great weekend. We'll be back
