Great place to stop and grab an honest coffee and feed to power you through to Omeo or further East.

Highly recommend the bacon and egg if you need that caffeine and protein hit.

Great people who will accommodate even the most trying youngsters.

If the kids need a feed, stop here. Also they have an enclosed eating area which is a big win on a sunny day.

I need to try the big breakfast next time but I'm always in a rush.

Update: tried it and it is amazing 🤩( see photo). Haven't had a big breakfast like this in years. Forget getting a pie grab this.

Best bacon and egg rolls in town. Great little cafe. Right across the road from the park and public toilets. Picnic tables in the park or there is seating at the cafe

The ladies in this Cafe were so friendly and helpful, we got there just before closing and they were still willing to serve us and heat the food up for us. The food was delicious and if you are in the area stop by and grab some food, you won't be disappointed

Family friendly and dog friendly 💕 staff super awesome! The came to check us at the courtyard when it started raining and put the umbrella up immediately. Recommend to everyone around the area 👍🏽

great place to stop if you want to skip the crowds of Bairnsdale. the cafe has an outside area with tables and chairs. public toilets are across the road . interesting historical buildings and information scatered around for a quick walk to stretch the legs

Great quiet spot to stop on your trip - friendly staff, and food is tops and well priced. The grassy eating area outside is particularly good for kids and dogs. Our new stop for travelling between NSW and VIC.

Had the roast lamb and gravy roll. The best I have had in a long time. Accompanied by a hot, well made coffee.
The staff are friendly. The place was clean and tidy. The perfect spot to stop when in the area.

It's been a challenge finding good quality fish and chips around here but we finally found that tonight. Friday night fish and chips at Blue Bee Bruthen. Gummy, calamari and chips were to die for. If you are stuck for Friday night dinner, I would highly recommend them.

Staying in Bruthren for two weeks while working and was very happy to come across the Blue Bee. Breakfast was incredible (we had the Atlantic Breakfast) and it was so good to sit and enjoy a damn good short mac in the sunny courtyard. Highly recommend this place for anybody who wants good quality at a fair price. Will continue to go to the Blue Bee as long as I’m up here. Keep the good work up ladies.

I've just had Fish n Chips. A beautiful big, tasty piece of fish and ample chips, magnificent and the staff are always helpful and friendly. Highly recommend

Fantastic homemade sausage rolls and very generous serves of hot chips for good price. Very friendly and a great spot to sit outside and eat (even on a sunny midwinter’s day). Definitely recommend a stop here.

My partner and I had a lovely lunch at Blue Bee Cafe on New Year’s Day. Great friendly service and a delicious roast lamb roll with gravy. I left my keys behind and owners of the cafe were kind enough to express post them back to Melbourne for me. Thank you! Highly recommend.

Excellent for a quick lunch during a road trip. Service is prompt with ample staff and meals arrive quickly. Fantastic Vegie Focaccia, great coffee, and the carrot cake is awesome. I will always go here during my drive through Bruthen.

I really like this Cafe. The name is cool and comes from the native blue bees we have in this area. A little information on the native bees is provided at the tables along with the menu. The food was spot on. Not food pretending to be good, it was scrumptious. I want to return just thinking about it! Well worth the trip to a darling little Cafe where the staff and feeling of the business is about caring for customers expectations. Recommended highly!
