Cheap and best for a gem location of Lara close to the Avalon International Airport. The property prices in Lara would easily reach Millions soon. Good opportunity for the Chinese investors.

Early timelines have been awful - we had a two year wait for our land when promised six months - and that hasn't been the best start. But don't overlook this site for that reason, even though all reports suggest that you will still have a long wait (typically two years and generally much longer than originally promised) before your land titles. There's a lot to like about this site as a place to build - affordability, connectivity (50 minutes from Lara station on V-Line to Southern Cross), proximity to Geelong and the coast, and Lara being a genuinely nice country town. So once you're in, there's a lot to commend it. You will need patience, however.

This is just a housing estate. Suburban homes and one child care centre.

Just be aware before you sign the contract. As the developer is charging a premium price on the lots, but avoiding to pay the Community infrastructure levy on the land and has opted for the buyer to pay the levy. which is $979.00 per lot.
I have bought a couple of properties in Melbourne and had never paid it as the developers over there had paid them.
This came as a surprise as the building surveyor mentioned us when we applied for the building permit and as per the council rules you will not be given a building permit unless you pay the fee.
This is a big ripoff.
Please check your contracts before you buy a block here. Who knows what all the costs these developers are trying to avoid and making us pay them.

I suspect the only positive reviews on here will be from Dacland employees, rather than customers! How could one provide a positive review for an organization which has a proven track record of dishonesty.

Stay well away from Daclands.Our land was meant to be titled october 2016 and here is July 2017 and still no titles. Worst developers STAY CLEAR. Nothing but set back after set back. Lies lies lies and more lies..Im so over it wish I could get out of it .

Significant delay in land title with no communication.

Promise of beautifully developed park lands but stuck with empty unkept spaces full of debris and rubbish. Again no communication from Dacland when requesting answers.

Years of delays, zoning changes resulting in commercial land being changed to residential and residential changing to commercial without warning and with SERIOUS impact, and constant false information and advertising. Absolute rip off. Nothing but constant lies.

Liers and always delays the works. Very disappointed. We paid 5 percent and still waiting.
